This book was in excellent shape for a used book. What a shame I haven't had time to read it for my class... bit I have it if I need it.

This book is an outstanding example of five important variations of methods for doing qualitative research in psychology. It not only explores each in the context of a particular research study, it also then cross-compares and contrasts each with each of the others in very insightful ways. Altogether the best resource available for anyone interested in advances in qualitative research methodology.

This is an extremely helpful book for discovering the nuances between the various approaches to doing qualitative analysis.

I learned a LOT about Qualitative Analysis from this book. They took text from one woman's experience with cancer and how it changed her life and analyzed it five different ways. Its a good starter for understanding a subjective view of research for a doctoral dissertation.
