Great product! Not so great of a vendor.
Great product, sturdy and well built.Directions are in Japanese but you shouldn’t have a problem figuring it out.Worst experience with communication from the vendor I’ve ever had on here. Took a month to receive, vendor blamed DHL (spoke with Dhl several times) when in fact the vendor never sent it out until a week before I received it. Never received an apology or anything stating that they messed up.

As Designed
Fit on a 17 depth sink with easy, can go much deeper for those who like to use in on a container box; I just put my stone directly on top of it, don't need any rubber grip, it will hold the stone; it is expensive, but I think it is worth it because it s from Japan =]

It works, but…
Works as intended but making adjustments to the stone holder screw is a pain because it is so small and hidden way underneath. Not recommended if you are changing stones with different sizes a lot. Also way too expensive.

Just shy of 10" capacity
This is a nice sink bridge, but it's not perfect. It has a few areas that could be improved on:1. Although the bridge is made of stainless steel, all the screws are made of plain chrome-plated steel that will eventually rust.2. The front stop can flip up for use or can be flipped back down to get out of the way. If you want to use the front stop, the maximum capacity the bridge can fit is just shy of 10." It's actually around 9-7/8". That little 1/8" of undersize may not seem like much, but it is just enough undersize to prevent some Japanese water stones with a built-in base from fitting onto the bridge when the front and back stops are engaged. My King Neo ST-2 stone, for example, has a base that measures exactly 10" long. It does not fit within the space between the front and back stops. To use this King Neo ST-2 on this Naniwa bridge, I either have to do without the front stop. Or, if I choose to use the front stop, I have to loosen the screws on the backstop to gain that extra 1/8." Loosening the back screws to gain an extra 1/8" capacity is a hack rather than the way the bridge was designed to operate.3. Those thumb screws are short and tiny and are hard to grab onto to provide enough torque. This problem could be compounded when the screw threads are filled with grits from the stone slurries and when the screw threads will eventually rust because the screws are not made of stainless steel.4. Lastly, the frame twists and bends a tiny amount when medium pressure is put on either side of the bridge near where the narrow neck is located. The flex and twist result from the bridge's construction having an extendable narrow neck. Flexing and twisting are different motions. During sharpening, the twisting motion is especially noticeable compared to the bending motion. The amount of twisting motion is roughly 1/16" up and down on either side. The twisting motion is not big enough to materially affect the bevel angle, but it's there.

Insanely well-made and stable
The photos don’t do this justice. Truly, high quality stainless steel that doesn’t bend. The rubber tips are also high-quality and keep this device stable as you are using.Note, be cognizant of how your sink is shaped before ordering and measure! Make sure that you will have room both length-wise and on the sides. If your sink has an awkwardly placed facet that takes sits close to the edge (like mine) and leaves little space on the sides AND your sink has rounded corners (like mine) that limit flat space after the faucet ends, you may run into not having the right stable surface to use it. I got lucky that it still fits on top of the flat edge faucet fixture because otherwise it wouldn’t have fit my sink (you can see what I mean in this photo!).Also, for anyone confused by Japanese-only set up instructions, the photo will show how the adjustable length stopper attaches to the device :)

Why did I wait so long
I have wanted this sink bridge for a long time now and I just picked it up the other day and all I can say if wow. I should have gotten this years ago. It is easy to use and setup and stable. Make it easier to sharpen my knives. I would recommend greatly.

Good idea poor craftsmanship
Used it 1 time to sharpen 3 knivesnd it worked beautifully. BUT, when going to use it again, the end piece came off with little pressure due to the spot welds used were not good quality. So. Craftmanship is very poot. I will have afriend tack weld it back on. I should check the other spot welds as well. This a good idea but not a good value.
