Multipurpose Clips
I bought these, because my husband got me a sewing machine and I didn't want to use prickly little pins. And I saw it on sale for Prime Day. However, there are so many of these clips that I suggested we use some of them for other things. Like for example, for a bag of chips! They're small clips but very strong and well made, and they totally get the job done.If I'm being totally honest with myself, these clips have been used a lot more for bags of chips, bag of lettuce, bag of soggy spinach, bag of bread, bag of cereal, bag of peanuts, bag of dog food, and even as a paper clip. I'm also planning to use these as clothes pin to hang our clothes on a line to dry out.Very handy tin of clips. Totally worth the price, in my opinion. You'll never run out of clips!

Firm holding sewing clips in cute tin
My daughter just started sewing on a sewing machine, so these sewing clips are just what she needs so she doesn't have to deal with pins. There are 5 large clips which I counted, and 155 small clips in the tin. These clips are surprising strong when holding fabric together. I thought they would slip but they don't because firstly, the metal 'spring' is quite strong and secondly, there are teeth on the ends of the clips. These teeth have corresponding holes/depressions on the opposite side that they fit into so they don't budge. The clips comes in a variety of colors, colored and transparent on the top part of the clip, and clear and transparent on the bottom. The transparency is so you can see the raised plastic 'lines' on them which are helpful measurements for the seam. A couple of other things I noted on the clips are the finishing of the plastic at the end, on the side where you hold the clip, is a little rough (leftover plastic from the molding process perhaps?) and the metal 'spring' strength is not consistent as some are tighter than others. But these don't affect the functionality of the clips and the fact that there are so many of them. And I shouldn't forget to mentioned that the tin is super cute!

Really nice and versatile.
Love these for sewing! They happened to arrive the day I started putting a new lining into my favorite leather jacket, and turned out to be super useful. What better way to baste silk to leather? I would have been totally screwed without these. There are so many, I will never use them all at once unless I start quilting again in earnest, so I've been using them around the house to clip snacks and sacks of tea, that kind of thing. I'm sure I will find many uses for them. The only downside is that if they were just a little lower profile they would fit closer to my regular sewing machine foot, as they are they get knocked a bit. But that's only a problem if you are in the habit of having a narrow seam allowance, the regular 5/8" should be just fine. They feel really nice and sturdy, and the container is nice as well. Best purchase that I didn't know I needed until I had it.

Clips good, tin is super cute
I bought these clips to supplement my supply of super expensive Wonder Clips from Clover (I think Clover makes them). While these are definitely not as nice as the more expensive ones, they do the job respectably. They are harder to pinch open and do not really open as wide (and when they do, they make a snap noise, which makes me think some little plastic piece is breaking). However, I can afford them, so that makes them perfect. Also, the tin they come in is fabulous! The pattern is fun and the lid just slips off with one hand. The finish is textured.

Tin Case is absolutely adorable
The tin case is adorable and Iād pay the selling price for just the tin. The clips are an excellent bonus.

Terrific assortment!
I like all the sizes they have in this container and I love the container to boot! I have found that having different size clips makes cutting and piecing my fabric together much easier. I use the tiny clips for precise times in tricky holding situations like when you are sewing a fleece forest for your guinea pigs and need to the hold the fleece strips in place when sewing the final edge in a pillow stitch and you don't want to mess it up. The others cause the fleece to slide around too much as I use cotton or minky fleece for my material of choice to cover the grid up instead of fleece. Minky fleece is slippery and hard to work with but these clips keep it tame and in place! They also work good when you have thinner layers than the other clips in the assortment though the flatter wider second bigger ones do a good job of that too. I am very happy with the number of big clips as they are pretty expensive on their own. I use the second smallest clips the very most and they are holding up really well to multiple uses. They all are. I expect to be using them for years!

Great for holding material together
I thought I'd be able to sew thin/slippery material with these and avoid pins, but they are taller than expected and do not clear the Needle Clamp. These are great for holding material together without pins while you are setting everything up. I lay everything out, quickly adjust as needed, then, depending on the material, I pin just before sewing or even as I sew. Of course some material/designs don't need pins; I just remove the clips before they pass the needle. If your machine has a low profile Needle Clamp or you sew with wide edges, these will work for sewing any material.Note: The strength is not consistent from clip to clip. Some are tighter than others, but all have a strong grip..

Uses are endless...š¤·š¼āāļø
Cute, yes. I use my clips on mail. Helps important mail stand out in upright pile-file red means needs paid. Blue is for medical. I have added clips to cards and invitations given to friends. (Be accountable if you have young kids). These are a big happy plus in my home. Just ordered my second can, I might want more when I get to sewing again.
