first off, let's qualify my ratings - Sound quality is OFF THE HOOK good, even compared to the earlier Kenwood model that I bought this one to replace (it served me well, but I wanted blue tooth instead of plug-and-cord). Highest score. Remote Control - says to d/l an ap and use your phone. doesn't seem like a great choice, so no stars. Ease of install - if you're replacing a stock stereo that came with your car, I'd say DON'T EVEN TRY. If you're replacing an aftermarket, you'd best be able to understand how to read a wiring diagram (download from autozone is helpful, then you cross-reference with the instructions. If you know what you're doing, you're fine (you'll need inline splices and a crimper tool). Three stars, because I wouldn't trust that someone without basic skills in wiring things up would have a decent time of it.

I'm running alpine SPX 165 6 1/2 inch component speakers with JL D 400/4 amp. My system always sounded decent but with this new deck is like I have a whole new audio system in my vehicle. You can't go wrong with this product the KDC705 is excellent.
