Tattle Tea Pinhead Gunpowder Green Tea, 2 Pound

This is probably some sort of blasphemy to the tea deities but I mix this with the Tattle Tea White Peony and I am addicted to it. I like the Gun Powder and the White Peony both on their own but there is something about them together. To me they just taste like they were meant to be that way. Since they both have about the same steeping time and temp it works out perfect as well.It is really important to get the temp and the steep time right with green tea, I think the white is more forgiving(?). I can stand to drink my mistakes when I over steep but I know the bitter was my own fault. I actually use my the digital meat thermometer when I heat the water and the timer on it when I steep. Might as well make use of it when it isn't in a turkey. Yea, I still let the steeping get away from me sometimes. I heat the water to 185F because it cools down when I pour it into the cold cup and steep them both for 2 mins in the same infuser. As long as I don't get distracted, I get perfect tea.*Disclaimer: I know very little about tea and no one gives me free tea for my inarticulate reviews.

Very good Pinhead Gunpowder green tea at a reasonable price. If you've not had Pinhead Gunpowder green tea before, it is stronger than many green teas, but is not bitter.

Exactly what I ordered. This is my favorite tea, and it did not disappoint.
