They dont look, function or feel as cheap as they are!They're soft and satiny, thick for what they are and great at keeping the light out. You can see small pinpricks of light but if that's a big issue you could use a lightweight sheet behind to combat it, however thats completely unnecessary as the black out works very very well.The first picture is with the light on, the second with the light off and the photo is pretty accurate to irl.

Bought for my spare room for when my son stops over, he is an insomniac and a really light sleeper so the smallest noise or glimmer of light wakes him up. These curtains work a treat, insulating as well as blocking out light - although I do need a pelmet as light still comes through at the top of the curtain pole!Very good quality material, and complete with tie backs. Well worth the money.

Item is unlined so quite light. Its Summer now so not sure about the thermal yet. Otherwise the curtains are fine. They do block light out.

I bought the dark grey curtains for yhe living room and its pretty spot on to the photos in the description. Theyre lovely and soft and block out the light really well, easy to hang up on a pole but does need an iron after unpacking, they also came with curtain ties of the same colour
