Great security
For those facilities and situations where people keep stealing cable adapters, this product is perfect. Wish they sold a cost effective version without the crimps ;)

The TetherTies were easy to install and turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. Worked for multiple adapters in the office. I expect to use more of them and will recommend them to colleagues looking for this type of solution.

Wish I had found these earlier - would have saved me quite a bit of money on replacement dongles!
I am using these to keep MAC HDMI adapters attached to HDMI cables in public spaces at a school. In the past the adapters would just "walk away" all the time. I've probably spent hundreds of dollars replacing those. Now, for a low price, I'm able to attach them permanently to the cables. Yes - someone can probably cut them off. But most of the time it is a matter of convenience when they "walk away". I put 6 of these in immediately and so far haven't had a loss of an adapter since.

Great solution for annoying problem
Adapters are constantly getting lost or stolen. I use these to secure VGA and Apple adapters in 25 conference rooms. They were easy to install and came as advertised. I'd recommend them...no issues.

You know the item is what it is. In an open development work environment its common for people to think "did i bring my assigned adapter", "I presented, this must be my adapter". While we run inventory tracking, this creates a secure system where adapters up to 50,00 a piece are not lost.If you are looking to secure assets and lost prevention, this is a must have for your work place.

They mostly work
There are two side for each loop that are supposed to lock once crimped, however I have found that the side of the metal that's supposed to be already locked down needs an extra crimp because it falls out pretty easy. They are good to keep adapters together, but not great for security since the ends. can get pulled out just be twisting the secured adapters.
