Quality of different brands of cord varies greatly from brand to brand, and sometimes, quality varies greatly even among spools from the same company purchased at different times. The spool I got from this seller is good cord, but not the best I've used. It's a bit dry, and not as substantial and tightly spun as some others. It also could've been coiled on the spool more evenly, and I think this contributes to a bit of kinkiness along the length of the cord. Still, very usable, which is more than I can say for some other spools I've had from other sellers. 8 out of 10.Update: Now that I've gotten some way into the spool, I'm liking this cord better than I did at first. A good deal of the kinkiness of the cord has smoothed out at this point, and the cord overall has a better quality feel to it now.

I got the 2mm black thread. It really isn't waxed much at all, there's maybe a super thin coating but definitely not nearly as waxed as one would expect from something advertised as "waxed thread".Aside from that, the product does come as advertised and the thread seems plenty strong. I've only used it for pendants / necklaces holding metal pendants on them, but have had no issues with it so far. Because it is not really waxed, you can't use heat to seal seams at all, so you'll have to rely on your knot tying skills or on glue.Overall, worth it for the moneyReview Update: I've changed from 4 stars to 3 stars because there is definitely fraying at the ends of the string and also the thin bit of coating comes off super quickly. The remaining string is soft which is fine, but obviously not as durable

At the end of the day it's waxed cotton, but you get a lot for the money and it has a pretty high breaking strength. Bought it specifically for one handle on a custom order but will definitely use it again... And again, and again since you get so much per role.

I purchased this during the Christmas flash sales, at a great price. It arrived quickly and is a great item. I failed to look at the thickness of it so it is a little bit thicker than what I had intended on using if for. But, I like the feel of it. It is sturdy, so I for whatever I end up using it for, I know it will be dependable and not break or fray easily. When I find a good use for it, I'm sure I will purchase more.

I received a thick elastic not a rope band as advertised. T the time there was not an option to exchange it or refund my money and it took way longer which I understood as it was during the pandemic. Not sure if you can tell how thick it is . the advertisment stated it was string elastic. I used these to create permanent chains for some of my pendants. The thickness of the rope is uneven and it frays a little after wearing it a few times. It does appear to be strong, as I haven't lost any pendants. However, it's not very "fancy". Overall, I like it for the amount I spent.

This product was great for the price. Durable cord and a lot of it. I used it as a necklace cord. However, my first package got lost in the mail, so be wary of that and don’t be afraid of contacting Amazon for a refund!

Spool broke in transit. Kinda made a mess out of the thread. The thread itself is great though. Exactly what I wanted and good price.
