Even more so now than ever with my Wireless Car Charger. I just set it in its mount, it auto grabs the phone and starts charging. It would kind of defeat the purpose if I was plugging in and out every time. No thanks!!! If you have a really weak battery, or your car sits for days on end, anything plugged in like this would very slowly drain your battery. But if your car is sitting around that much, it should have a trickle charger on it anyway to keep your battery topped off and make it last much longer anyway. If your car is going to sit more than a few days, OK pull it out enough to not drain the battery at all. But if it's not actually charging anything, it's not using much power to worry about. **Q: is this product comptable with plum model e910 ?** A: The product I received wasn't compatible with anything - that is, it never worked to charge any of my devices. Worthless right out of the box, unfortunately I didn't find that out until well after the deadline to return. Obviously I would not recommend this item. **Q: I have an ipod nano. how can i tell what generation it is ? does it work with all the ipod nanos?** A: I’m not sure, but I can tell you that the plug in part that goes to your phone/nano works for iPhone 5 and up. It’s the newer plug that is the same shape all on both sides.
