Grandma (my wife) wanted a scooter for the grandkids for when they come over and visit and/or when we take the grandkids to our favorite California State campgrounds. I set of on a search to find one that would not go so fast that the kids would get hurt learning how to ride them. This scooter stood out as the one to try.This scooter has three speeds, selectable on the handle bars via the digital menu. Those speeds are 3mph, 6mph and 9mph.Our grandkids LOVE this scooter. One grandson, age 6, is the "cautious" type that does not try new and fast items so we let him ask when he was ready, and he absolutely loves this scooter as he has warmed up to the three speeds quite fast. The electric brake, also on the handle bars, works really well. You can also use the brake fender (if you will) that sits over the rear tire, and that works great too.They charge quickly and last long enough to get the kids scooter rides in over an hour of back and forth on the sidewalk in front of our house, or around the campground on our weekend trips.Bought a second one since we have six (6) grandkids to enjoy. Highly recommend this for beginners.

The media could not be loaded. This is a good scooter for kids. It is powerful. Battery life is good. Recharges quickly. Brakes work good but not great. 3 speed modes are great for learning kids. Somewhat of a pain to fold. Assembly wasn't bad.Overall, the kids like riding it and beg to all the time. Size adjustments are adequate to good. Handlebars slide down with little weight applied. Unsure how to fully lock them.The lights are a nice touch. Adding a nice accent and safety increase at night. I'll have them keep riding it and update this review in time to reflect total lifespan.Update: Rode around a state park for a good hour off and on. Battery still had power. Was able to take my 7 year old up a decent incline with some assistance. Super convenient helping her get from the picnic site to the bathroom.Added some pictures and video of the LED lights. It has acquired some minor scuffing on the sides. But overall it looks very nice cosmetically. Compacted, it fit conveniently on the rear floor of our small car as the trunk was full.

— update —After initially being impressed with this Electric Scooter, I’ve unfortunately discovered some serious issues after only a few uses that have left me concerned for my child’s safety. While the scooter seemed fun and functional at first, I started noticing that the LED display would intermittently malfunction, making it hard to keep track of the speed and battery life. This was worrying but not the worst part.What really caught my attention was the scooter’s stability. After a few rides, the frame started to feel less solid, and there was noticeable wobbling when my child was riding it. This is definitely not something I’m comfortable with, especially since safety is my number one priority. The brakes also became less responsive over time, which could pose a serious danger if the scooter is going downhill or needs to stop quickly.It’s disappointing because I really wanted this scooter to be a fun and reliable mode of transportation for my child. Instead, I’m left questioning whether it’s safe enough to keep using. I would recommend anyone considering this scooter keep an eye on its performance after a few uses and make sure everything stays secure and responsive for the sake of safety.Please do consider your kid safety and get yourself the one more reliable.——————————-My kids were zipping around the neighborhood, and the scooter showed no signs of slowing down even after a long play session. With a top speed of 9.3 MPH and a range of up to 5 miles, it’s the perfect balance of fun and safety for kids aged 6-12. The LED display is a great touch—it keeps them informed about their speed and battery life, so they always know when it's time to head back.The colorful LED lights on the wheels were an instant hit. Not only do they add a layer of excitement, but they also make the scooter visible and safer during evening rides. The lightweight design makes it easy for my kids to handle and for me to carry around if needed.

The media could not be loaded. I got it for my daughter because my kids were sharing 1. This was perfect, she’s obsessed with the lights on it as shown in the video. I must say it looks sooo cool at night. I like the fact that it’s suited for children so while it goes fast, it doesn’t go crazy fast like some.I have seen these scooters go for crazy price online, you really do get your bang for your buck on this one.It’s very sturdy, even though my daughter is careful she’s knocked it down by accident afew times and it’s solid!The battery life is pretty darn good as she doesn’t need to charge it for a while! Overall this is a fantastic scooter for any kid !

UPDATED REVIEW:I reached out to customer service regarding the issues I was having with my original scooter. They were great to work with and very helpful. They immediately sent my a replacement that came within 2 days and I sent the original one back at their cost. They also refunded me $30 for the inconvenience. The replacement scooter has worked great with no issues! My son is loving it and he loves the three different speeds it offers along with the cool light features!Stop working after 2 uses! My son was so excited to get this scooter! He only used it twice and the 3rd time the scooter wouldn’t go above 3mph (it was fully charged) and then the display that shows the mph went all wack (picture attached). I do not recommend this product for how expensive it is and for it not to even last 3 uses!!!!!
