Very good magnetic hold. This thing clings and does not let go, which is what I wanted. It is quite thin. It included two metal rings in case your device isn’t MagSafe. I have a Speck MagSafe case for iPhone 14 pro and it holds perfectly. I have not tried the adhesive yet.

Very strong grip hold.

I initially wrote a one star review, saying these didn't contain any magnets, and mentioned the metal ring. Oops, that ring is meant to stick on the back of a non-MagSafe phone or case. I had that ring between my disc and my case, and the hold was very weak.That was my mistake. Oops! This does actually contain magnets, and the hold seems decent so far. I've changed this to four stars, and after I've had a chance to use it more, we'll see if it merits more or less.

Very strong magnets. Work great

1. Its not too strong but not too weak hard to explain but I'll try. Almost just right ... It is barely too weak in the sense that you can easily pull your phone but after checking (a lot) it holds no problem. As long as you don't have the phone hanging upside down and throw the phone downwards purposely trying to shake it off it should hold.2. IDK why but I assumed this had a blue ring but later realized this was just the area the picture showed as to where the magnets are at. The entire thing is black (which is fine with me).3. The 3M tape on this was not good. It fell off the first thing I stuck it on after I let sit for an hour an put my phone on and drove around. Once I hit a bump it came off. Now the area I put it on was lightly textured but I have placed other object with 3M on it and they been fine. I peeled the tape off and used my own automotive 3M and that did the trick.Overall. The magnet is "Just Right" (almost like 87% to 91% in strength in my opinion) so B+ to A-The tape was a 69% to 71% (on a completely smooth surface it would work fully ... maybe) so D+ to C- for the tape.But the actual product, outside of the tape, is a solid B+. Just BYOT (Bring Your Own Tape)

I don't know what it is about this specific MagSafe puck, but it's seriously the best and strongest I've tried. It includes a metal ring, but I don't use or need it. The base iPhone MagSafe already in the phone does well enough. And best of all... it works in the shower! Instead of using the permanent adhesive on it I put it up with two shower command strips. Let it sit for a day just in case, but this baby is holding. The heat and humidity aren't affecting it at all and I can finally watch TikToks and listen to music while I shower. Love it!

The magnets on these are super strong and they easily bear the weight of my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Their usefulness depends on your use case. I attached one of them to my old magnetic mount in my car and tested under various circumstances:a. Bare phone - attached very strongly to the magnet - easily withstood driving around.b. Phone with MagSafe case on - same as above - very strong attractionc. Phone with non-MagSafe case on and metal ring attached to the inside of the case - weak attraction - phone fell off mount under weight of phoned. Phone with non-MagSafe case on and metal ring attached to outside of case - very strong attraction - easily held phone under driving conditionsConclusions: very nice strong magnets. If you want to use with non-MagSafe case, make sure you're ok with attaching the metal ring to the outside of the case because it will disappoint you if the metal ring is inside the case. Use with the bare phone or MagSafe case is trouble-free.

I have an iPhone 14 pro and an Otterbox case that is Magsafe compatible. This product would not hold up my phone at all.
