It was 3 days before Father's Day, and I had nothing for my dad! I was searching and searching until I fell upon this product... and it was PERFECT! Great way to learn more about your father and not just another "greatest dad" mug! And after finding out they sell mugs for different relatives, I am excited to purchase one for everyone I know! It was just the right gift from a daughter to a father.

Awesome Father’s Day gift

Bought this for a Father’s Day gift and the recipient was excited to use it. Book was nice quality. All pages I skimmed through looked printed clearly etc. thoughtful prompts throughout the book serve sort of like questions you’d never thought of asking but that will give future readers some perspective into the writer’s life.

Lets just say, I bought this too late. My father had an aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. Although I got this to him shortly after diagnosis, he was to weak to continue writing in it after a few pages. Buy this before it's "needed". I ended up "interviewing" my dad with a recorder on my phone and asking some of the prompts for him to answer. It lead to the most meaningful conversations we've never had and I'll hold onto this recording for the rest of my life. The book is beautiful and well-done. Just get it to Dad before it's too late. <3

1 star taken off for quality. The painting on the front was not great on mine. Looks like I got unlucky.Will be updating this after I see the inside of the book.In the video, comparing to the mom’s story book (same company) the dad’s story has blotched text and blotched painting on the decorations.

I ordered this book for my dad who has gotten very sentimental after having grandkids. When he opened it on Christmas, he told me that he had thought about getting something similar for his dad as a gift. He read through some of the prompts and told me that he really appreciated that I wanted to hear more about who he is. I think it's a fantastic gift for a parent!
