Non-Programmable Thermostats for Home 1 Heat/1 Cool

Got two of these for our little church to replace Programmable thermostats ..... which nobody could figure out, but everybody constantly dorked with .... driving our electric bill to new, unaffordable levels. These are darn near foolproof (says the old fool). Also, I love the selectable (i.e very easily selectable!) "Swing" metric .... you can set it between 0.4 degrees and 2.0 degrees ... I use about 1.5 degrees swing, so that the HVAC system doesn't cycle as frequently .... much easier on electrical contactors and other components. And few people notice ... except those who always complained anyway.

I am not a handyman guy at all but it was easy to install and the product works well.

Easy to install. Took 10 min to switch from my old one. I did not want programming functions. Just a simple design.

We were replacing an old thermostat just because it the plastic had yellowed over time. We wanted something that was simple, functional, and unobtrusive.This unit did the trick. We’ve checked the temperature reading over the past few days and it seems to be spot on.No C-wire required; it runs on two AAA batteries which seem to last 6 to 12 months.Install is super easy by matching the colored wires, and it mounts super quickly with two Phillips screws.The backlight only goes on when a button is pushed, or the destination temperature is reset.The temperature setting itself is only visible when the unit is switched to on; otherwise, only the current temperature is displayed.
