Animal Husbandry Regained: The Place of Farm Animals in Sustainable Agriculture Paperback – Illustrated, 16 November 2012

John Webster writes beautifully and logically using his accumulated knowledge and wisdom to craft a framework on which welfare in domestic livestock can be considered. This is particularly important as society drifts farther and farther away from contact with farming, farmers and their livestock. For me, some chapters were better than others, but that probably refelects my personal interests, rather than any deficiencies in the prose. Definitely recommended for those who like a scientific argument, flavoured with some ethical and moral views.
