Bought this for a recently-acquired GoPro Hero 9. The video quality was excellent, however rather let down by the excessive wind noise which intruded on the ambient sound even with the wind-reduction facility on the camera being enabled, so this was bought to try and minimise the noise. It was easy to attach to the camera, and was taken out on a spin on a relatively calm afternoon. On return and uploading the videos I was pleasantly surprised at how effective it was at reducing the amount of wind noise to a reasonable and acceptable level...Highly recommend...

Fits well , but you just need to be careful as it can be easily damaged upon doing this.Does a good job of wind blocking but not that cheap for what it is.

This does such a good job of blocking the wind that I turned off the setting on the go pro. When you watch the footage back it’s sounds great. I’ve used this on a motorbike and a mountain bike and have had the same result both times.

Works well below 5-10mph then usual wind noises. Does not work well on a motorcycle, cover will get pushed back by wind at high speed uncovering the mix. Used a bit now thrown in the bin.

Night and day difference with this on! Very little wind noise compared to a bare gopro in the wind

Works a treat, best purchase yet. Can make go pro hot in extreme heats though. But literally stood on blackpool promenade on a windy day and sound was perfect. I use it for my youtube channel content

Fits amazingly and mine came with some extra pieces such as a replacement battery compartment cover and lens cover.
