You Don’t Understand…I’m Obsessed!
I don’t usually write reviews, but after experiencing this creme and raving about it in my bathroom mirror as if I’m filming an episode of Vogue Beauty Secrets for the past 3 weeks, I felt it was time.I have oily-combination skin so I’m very finicky when it comes to moisturizers; in fact I only recently incorporated a true moisturizer into my skincare regimen (approx 4-5 months ago), prior to which I soley relied on hyaluronic acid serum and other treatments with “moisturizing” ingredients.I began using this this moisturizer during a week my skin was absolutely unhappy with me due to over-exfoliation and piling actives. I wanted to focus solely on hydrating and repairing my skin barrier for a week and this did just the job.I expected this product to leave a visibly shiny film or “glow” I typically associated and experienced with moisturizers, but I was (to my pleasant surprise) given the complete opposite. While it is noticeably more occlusive upon application with a visible “glow”, by the time I put away my skincare and looked back up, it has already sunk down into a velvety, skin-like finish leaving me to question if I even put anything on at all—I use a benzoyl peroxide cleanser, so it’s very easy for me to tell when my skin is parched. The formulation is rich, luscious yet *extremely* lightweight and comfortable; it doesn’t make me produce any excess sebum throughout the day or night.I’d like to add that the review written by Or Gotham at good light was very enlightening. I think the idea of mixing “old-school” occlusive moisturizers like Nivea and light-weight gel based moisturizers is genius.TLDR: I fear I need to stock up on this product. The formulation and its ingredients are amazing. If you have oily-combination/normal skin, you might enjoy it. Proper moisture/hydration is the key to healing the skin barrier and other skin concerns.

My favorite overnight cream!
I love how thick this face cream is. It really makes my dry skin feel hydrated. It's also great for sensitive skin. You don't need a lot. It'll last a while.

Love this!
This is the best moisturizer! It lasts all day and is nice and light. I love how my skin feel. It doesn't make me breakout, but keeps me nice and hydrated all day.

Feels amazing!!
A friend told me about this and I was skeptical, but love the way it feels. Not greasy! Goes on silky smooth

Thick
This cream is very thick going on the skin and remains tacky all day. I now add a couple drops of water to it in my palm and mix with fingertips and then it is a 5 star cream. Don't know why people call this cream lightweight.

Godsend for hyper reactive skin
EDIT: After a couple weeks, this started to burn and irritate my skin. Going back to One Thing Centella Soothing Cream; I’m just a sucker for squalane but something in this is bugging my skin. Boo!I had zero hopes this would work on my ultra sensitive, highly reactive skin. I usually stick with products until they stop making them, and the search for replacements is so unbearable. Took a chance on this as I already use their face cleanser (another miracle my skin agrees with), and to my delight, I have not experienced any sign of irritation or adverse reactions. It is so soothing and moisturizing, even after micro needling. I will continue to use this until it is no longer made, which I hope never happens or at least no sooner than a decade from now. If your skin hates everything and makes you feel abnormal, please try this. I have come to learn in all my trials and errors (which number in the 100s), that often times it’s not a single ingredient that may annoy the skin (though it’s super easy to think this way), but rather, the general formulation or concentration of certain ingredients (except when it comes to fragrance which is always a solid no).

Very hydrating!
My favorite face lotion, been using for years. Keeps my face hydrated during all seasons and works nicely with makeup.

Contains Silicones
I really should have read the ingredients rather than making the assumption that this 'clean' brand wouldn't use silicones, but alas they are in there. I have 43yo combination skin, so my t-zone gets very oily but everything else gets dry as the desert to the point of flaking if I don't use the right stuff. I purchased this based on the very positive reviews on Ulta, but again...didn't look at the ingredients and just assumed. Moisturizers that contain silicones dry out my face...and tend to block my pores and cause breakouts. The moisturizer remains tacky and doesn't feel like it sinks in...even when applied to the back of my hand as a test. As such, I would not recommend this for anyone with reactive/sensitive skin. Instead, check out Supermello gel cream moisturizer from Kinship!
