Mavericks BUFF Deep Cleansing Face Scrub - Natural and Vegan

First of all,if you have never used a face scrub, do yourself a favor and give it a go.It might be the one category of skincare products where your face feels different right away. Even after just one use.What I particularly like about this Buff product is overall quality. First, it doesn't have plastic micro beads or other nasty chemical additives common in men's products. Second, I have used a lot of face scrubs and most of them tend to be pretty harsh, and while your face does feel smooth it also feels very dried out. I also had some instances where I got small nicks on face from scrubbing (microbeads won't do this which is why they're popular despite being terrible for environment). Buff with crushed Bamboo seems to hit the sweet spot with just the right amount of abrasion and gentleness. I can use this almost daily with no problem, and I hardly even need a moisturizer afterwards. Third, I don't know exactly how this happens (since I don't see orange extract as an ingredient) but it smells amazing like fresh squeezed orange juice. It's not some fake chemical smell, which I can always tell since I have a very sensitive nose. Mavericks always manage to make their products smelling as pleasant as possible without additives, and I really appreciate that.So in conclusion, face scrubs are great and this is the best in the market that I've tried. I think you'd enjoy it as well.

Even guys need to exfoliate! I have been trying to get my son on a skin routine since he has suffered from several skin issues. He uses a retin a product and I have been looking for a gentle scrub that doesn't create more problems for him. Mavericks Buff is a deep cleaning face scrub but it is still very gentle on his skin. He is washing his face every third day with this and so far it is not causing any irritation or redness. The three ingredients that might cause irritation are Behenyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Glycol Distearate, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract (which is an acid-type product) but these are not the main ingredient. It does help remove dead skin though.

I found the smell to be off putting. Not awful, but not nice.It felt odd, not greasy, not sticky, somewhere in the middle.I cannot say that my face felt cleaner afterwards.I was not impressed.

As a man, it is nice to have a product devoted to me, and my skin. So I was looking forward to trying and reviewing Mavericks BUFF Deep Cleansing Face Scrub for Men.The product itself is good. BUFF does provide a nice gentle scrub, and it leaves my face feeling refreshed and clean. The scrub itself does not have much of an odor, and it washes away easily with just a few splashes of water. And it does make you feel good!Now, the bad. The product itself is natural but expensive. One glance at the ingredient list shows that this is probably true, but the list does include stuff I have trouble pronouncing. Additionally, the tube I received seemed half-empty. I am not sure if this is true with all of the tubes, but this can be a concern with a product that is not cheap. A tube this size (2.8 ounces) will not last very long.Overall, I like Mavericks BUFF Deep Cleansing Face Scrub for men. I am just not too crazy about the price.

This is a fantastic, new face scrub. I'm a fan!Exfoliating the skin is an important step for me. And, face scrubs contain small particles (beads) that remove dead skin, clearing potentially clogged pores, and ridding skin of excessive oils. However, the problem is that many face scrubs use harsh particles in them, and it can actually make skin dry and irritated. So, have to be careful with the selection of new face scrubs.Now, enter the new Mavericks face scrub ==>Mavericks somehow made this scrub to be extra gentle & nourishing. I was impressed with how smooth and soft my skin felt after using this face scrub. It also smells great, and is easy to wash-off too -- which saves time. Just a small amount is enough. Very impressive face scrub.Overall, when comparing to other face scrubs... I would say the gentle-ness of this scrub makes it stand out in a good way.I highly recommend this face scrub.

This cleansing scrub works great. I catch a soft citrus scent (maybe the grapefruit?) but it is very subtle and disappears quickly. The amount of course "granules" in the scrub is just right -- not too much, not too little. It definitely provides a nice scrub, but I believe the company when they say it can be used often. It's not too course to use every day.My complaint is with the price. The tube is not large to start out with, and when you squeeze said tube, you find it is only about two-thirds full even when new. Which would be fine if it were less expensive. If you like the natural ingredients of this scrub and you don't mind paying extra for that, this will work for you. Even though I really like the scrub in itself, I can't see it being a frequent purchase.

First off, LOVE the fact that this is both vegan AND free of environment damaging ingredients like micro-beads.Add to the nice "feature", BUFF works great! Some random thoughts...- I don't have a "routine", but I might now given how easy it is. Didn't have to do much scrubbing to come away w/ a feeling of having well scrubbed face.- I've only ever tried one other product like this, and felt my face was getting torn up. This definitely feels gentler and more natural- Been using it almost every day. works well and doesn't irritate or dry out skin. I live in the northeast, so around this time of year I definitely notice my skin drying out more, just due to seasonal weather changes.- Last of all, smells great!
