What can you learn from an antenna review? Not a whole lot I'm afraid. If a particular antenna receives a large percentage of 4 and 5 star reviews you can probably conclude that it is a well made and well executed product but you cannot be assured it will work for you in your location even if it has worked for others in similar circumstances. Antennas are highly location dependent, reception affected by the surrounding terrain, distance from the transmitter, buildings or tall trees between the antenna and transmitter or the walls in your home or the quality of the tuner it's attached to, just to name a few of the variables that will influence your choice of antenna. Sometimes moving the antenna from one room in your home to another or even moving it just a few inches can have a huge effect on your reception. In my case I intended to use this antenna as a replacement for a rather large set of rabbit ears/directional combo antenna (TERK) located near a bedroom window that I needed to reposition from time to time to get consistent reception from all of the stations I watch and can receive. I mounted the review antenna directly on the same window that faces the transmitter towers about 12 mi. away and rescanned the tuner only to find that I had lost 4 of the channels I occasionally watch and a couple I watch daily were degraded by a weaker signal. With the old antenna these stations were clear and strong though I sometimes had to move the antenna several inches one way or another. The antenna under review was fixed in position once attached to the window. I tried it in another room about 10' away on the other side of a wall in a window facing in the same direction as the first room and on a TV from the same manufacturer and it was better though no better than the same model antenna as used in the first room.Even though it didn't offer an improvement over what I had I'll keep it as my situation may change or a new TV of a different brand might make it a more viable option.

I purchased this Antenna as a backup for my cable during Hurricane Harvey. I had scheduled a new fiber optic install the day before this Hurricane hit Houston, and the tech was not able to complete the installation, which left us without cable or local channels. I ordered this with Prime and had it then next day, just in time to keep us posted on all of the weather and flooding impacting our viewing area and neighborhood. We live in the Houston suburbs, approximately 30 miles from downtown, and easily setup, programmed and watched all of our local stations. I had also picked up a MOHU Leaf at Best Buy, and this little Antenna got much better reception than the more expensive Leaf. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to cut the cord or have a local stations backup!!

This antenna worked really well for me. Stations are crystal clear--much better than cable. It's fairly small, but I still wish I didn't have to put it on a window for best reception. However, even lying it on a table behind the television, I get most of my local stations.

I’ve had difficulties with all of these antennas no matter what the power source or price. It’s all about where you mount these things. Windows are the best location so far ,but they look like cr*p. Wind and rain are always a factor swell.

This antenna surpasses any other antenna we have previously used. First of all, the stick-on mount works on any wall surface. We were able to double the amount of channels we had before and the clarity is amazing.

It works as advertised I receive 40 plus channels in the Seattle area. Great picture quality crystal clear!
