can this be set up for left side of bed?

You can roll it to either side of the bed, but I returned mine. Measure very carefully before buying. When I had the upright pole hard against the side of the bed, the large tray only extended 14" over the bed. Not enough to even use the book rest in bed, which is what I bought it for. It was unusable.
