I always enjoyed scratch art, so decided to get a few as Christmas gifts. These books are just like the scratch art I remember. I guess I forgot how messy the black can be. It doesn't rub off on hands so its fine while coloring, but once its scratched off, it can leave a mess. I do know that the books kept the kids entertained for a while. the quality of these books is excellent. They are a nice, thick cardstock, not cheap, thin paper. It sure is easier than bringing all the crayons out when you only have a small surface to work on and there are a lot of kids to share with. Each book has its own scratch pen which is kept in the book so no one has to share a thing. Definitely a plus.

I love these scratch and sketch pages for so many reasons. I started using them as a sensory activity with some of my students with autism. After sitting down and doing a page while my students worked on them I realized they were calming for me too! We all love the colors and the feeling of scratching away the pages. Ability to draw is not a factor with these because every mark you make creates a neat and unique pattern on the page! These are well loved in my classroom and at home!

My 7 year old grand daughter loves this... so glad that someone recommend this product to me. She has more fun sitting and doodling or drawing and watching the colors change..... great idea for grandparents to gift!

My 10 y.o. still enjoys using these scratch/sketch books. We saw this one in particular at a high-end resort store for 3x price, so I'm very pleased that it was available on Amazon!

I haven't met anyone who doesn't enjoy doodling with these. I've given these as gifts and they are always a hit with both boys and girls alike. If I ever need a present and am not sure what the kiddo would like I can rest assure these scratch and sketch books will be a hit.

If you open the book on each page to the left you will find some kind of instruction (draw a cd case for your band) and gives an example. To the right they have a blank black page for you to draw your idea. At the back you'll find plain (not scratch art) paper to sketch on.

My 8 year olds favorite activity! She’s been working on these books for the last few years, she puts detail into every page. This one was a hit.

Bought for my niece after she saw a similar one in a gift shop. She says it's the best, so it must be, her opinion is the one that matters.

When it arrived a few of the scratch pages had marks in but that happened in transit.My niece loved it

this was a lovely little gift for our daughter for her birthday. she spent hours creating wonderful creations both from rainbow and glitter backgrounds. makes drawing fun.

Good quality. Hours of fun. A little bit messy so have something underneath to collect the mess
