Great book for cursive!
What a fantastic way to teach a kiddo cursive! Easy to use and follow along, lots of practice on the letters and my dude loved learning how to write in cursive. This is a great series of books and I will always highly recommend this one.

Fantastic. It lives up to the hype.
My kid can now write NEATLY and QUICKLY. And he didn't hate doing the lessons. The author really must be some sort of teacher genius.I can't recommend this enough. My kid's print was terrible, AND he was slow while trying to do it. Now he writes in this pretty print/cursive hybrid at a fast/normal pace. All for $15 and 30 minutes a day for a few months. It really, really was without tears (it's his favorite schoolwork part of the day) and it really is effective.

WITHOUT tears as promised!
We have used this handwriting curriculum before & my kiddo LOVED it... NO tears like the others. For my teen we used a different handwriting curriculum & her writing is.. well... could be neater. MY DD who used this has MUCH nicer handwriting... I am not sure if it's because of the curriculum or not, but we are starting it w/another kiddo so hopefully her handwriting is neat too. It could be because the one DD is studying to be a doctor, so maybe messy handwriting goes along with that. lolHandwriting may not be taught in schools anymore, but it IS in OUR school. My husband said you would NOT believe the illegible & illiteracy displayed on job applications and resumes these days. We forgot with new technology that spell check & neat handwriting can't fix stupid.. ever used an "auto correction" from spell check only to find out it was WRONG?! I can't tell you how many times I have found errors in spell check. Anyway, we need to teach our kids to write neatly, & THIS is a great tool. Electronics can't replace basic life skills.Just for the NO frustration factor alone I WOULD purchase this again for future students.. hoping it also helps make for neater handwiting too.

Fun, easy, judgment free learning!
Fun learning books for kids. We homeschool and my kids have used all the books. They don’t even teach cursive anymore in school I just found out. We were sad when there were

and the book makes it easier for him due to his fine motor skills issues
My son is in the sixth grade, and we started homeschool with him this year. They stopped teaching cursive in our district a couple of years ago, so the only exposure he's had was from occupational therapy last year. He's always done well with Handwriting Without Tears, and this book is no exception. He's doing remarkably well with cursive, and the book makes it easier for him due to his fine motor skills issues. I would highly recommend this book to anyone else who's looking to teach their child cursive.

No tears!
I home school and bought this book to improve my daughters handwriting. She did a lesson a day 4x a week and finished the book over a few months (5-6?). It states 5th grade but we were in 6th. The passages were interesting and my daughter actually did these lessons without grumbling. As for her handwriting, I have noticed a vast improvement. She left me a note one day and it took me a minute to figure out who had written it. Highly recommended.

Great for homeschooling!
I'm homeschooling my 3rd grader. She usually does not like to write by hand, but she has not been frustrated by this workbook. She actually enjoys the brief lessons and takes pride in building her skills. We're very pleased with this book and approach.
