Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady

Ok so after getting paramount plus i catched up to 2003 TMNT then i watched 2012 TMNT i fell in love with it so much anyways when i saw its last episodes on plus. I decided to buy this crossover cause its the best. Whats even crazy is i didnt know this hit dvd befor TV that shows i didnt get to watch the 2012 series live. I will say this is way better then turtles forever or atleast the cut non widescreen version and bebop and rocksteady in this version get to show how awesome they truly are.

There’s only 3 options on this dvd. The special, a episode that was pretty prequel-ish, and a ice cream kitty music video that had me laughing.This seems like a special: After the last villain is defeated, things have gotten boring for our heroes and some of the villains. Fortunately another dimension opens up.Through it we see the old school cartoon universe again, this time Shredder and Kraang are the baddies this time around. The bad guys team up, the Turtles from the 87 cartoon pop up again. They get made to look incompetent and silly (which I had hoped they’d get a bit more respect but no denying the classic cartoon had its silly moments)The final battle of this special really surprised me, and had its moments that seemed really fun. I wish they elaborated or gave us more of an ending besides the 87 series/dimension getting their silly yet fun ending.“Lone Rat and Cubs” episode, well was definitely a prequel showing us Splinter caring for the infant turtles, while fending off the kraang. Not much to say about this episode, here you see how the Turtles get not only their names, but their weapons. This was a fun and emotional episode.(Wanted: Bebop and Rocksteady is listed on the wiki as the last set of episodes. So, I kind of wish they threw this on the Final Chapters for a grand finale instead of breaking these up.)Up next is the FINAL CHAPTERS, which unfortunately.. Puts a wrap on this fun and enjoyable series.

For die-hard fans of the original TMNT series, the "Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady" special is a dream come true with the voice-actors Rob Paulsen, Townsend Coleman, Cam Clarke, Barry Gordon, and Pat Fraley returning to voice the 1987 characters. Kevin Michael Richardson replaces the late James Avery as the voice of the 1987 Shredder. It's not the first time the 1987 turtles and Krang have appeared on the Nickelodeon series, as they were in the four season episode "Trans-Dimensional Turtles." The episode begins in the old 2D animation with the 1987 Shredder and Krang opening a portal to the Nickelodeon dimension, and from there it switches over to 3D computer-animation. The episodes (well, it's actually three episodes) is extremely funny, and it was nice to see 1987 characters one more time."Lone Rat and Cubs" is an alright episode, but the story is nothing us fans didn't already know about. However, it was nice to see the Splinter one more time before the series ends.Overall, I enjoyed watching Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady. I know some fans will complain about there being only being two episodes (technically there are four), but I'm not one of them. I liked the triple-length "Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady" episode. Even though "Lone Rat and Cubs" wasn't the best episode, I still liked it too. I recommend the DVD to other TMNT fans, young and old.

The 2012 TMNT Series was quite the enjoyable ride. They've made some new things and grabbed from the classics. The return of Bebop and Rocksteady was one of my favorite parts of the show. These episodes in particular did them justice👏

A lot of people are complaining that this DVD didn't have very much content, but it was a really entertaining full movie, plus a fantastic episode, and a fun music video. My son and I really enjoyed it. It's one of the better DVDs of the series.

My child loves this series. Great for TMNT lovers.

Warning: Last adventure of the TMNT if you're not ready to see it don't watch it. Awesome 3-part movie. Also comes with full origin of the turtles and Splinter. Plus Ice Cream Kitty Music Video!

Llegó sellado pero maltratado del empaque. Como que estuvieron apilados y se notan las marcas y un tanto abollados. No vienen realmente como la publicación muestra y menciona pues le falta el cartón que viene con el arte en relieve por encima del empaque del blister que trae el DVD. Vaya decepción. No lo recomiendo.

I bought this DVD for my grandson for Christmas. I put it in the DVD player and it said 'wrong format'.When I checked it was region 1, North America.No-where in the information or description did it say it was region 1 only.I requested a return as not fit for purpose. I have received an email from the company with a rambling text that it is playable in North America, region 1 only (shame they didn't mention that in the advert for the product) that I have to return it intact (I have removed the cellophane to put it in the DVD player to then realise it won't work) and I have to pay the return postage which won't be refunded (I paid postage to receive it)I have complained to Amazon.Do not buy DVD's from this company as they misrepresent products by not giving the required information.

Cualquier fan de TMNT compraría este DVD.Contiene 2 episodios (El especial de WANTED BEBOP AND ROCKSTEADY que es como película, y Lone Rats and Cubs) y un video musical.Estos episodios dicen el fin de la serie TMNT 2012 de Nickelodeon.Calidad es obviamente DVD, no es HD ni FULL HD.Otro problema es que ciertos DVDs (mis lectores Bluray) tienen problemas al leer este disco. No se si sea por alguna protección o que el disco haya sido enviado defectuoso)
