Don’t buy
I received these “squares” earlier today and just opened them. First thing I noticed as I was opening it was the “Made In China” sticker on the packaging which I don’t generally mind as long as the product is safe and functional. After pulling them out of the box, the next thing I noticed (barely) is the squares have embossed rules on them. However it is impossible to clearly read under normal circumstances since it is the same flat red color as the squares and are very small. This could be highlighted if you took some whiteout or paint and lightly glazed the top of the embossed numbers in a contrasting color but I feel this is something the factory should do standard. After unboxing, I pulled out my machinists square which is also 6” long and is square to .00063 inches. First thing I noticed is these squares are 1/8” short from the advertised 6”. However the marking rule on the squares seem to be relatively accurate and reflective of this. The next, and biggest issue with them is that none of these squares were actually square either on the inside face or the outside face. The outside face were actually worse than the inside face by maybe double but still not square regardless. This was true for all 4 squares but the squareness amount varied with each. I measured the gap on an outside face of one with a feeler gage and it was off by .036” (~1/32”) over the 5 7/8” length of the square. That means if you are building a 30” wide cabinet, over its length, you’ll be off square by ~3/16”. This is an unacceptable tolerance. The only reason I am giving an extra star is because they are made of sturdy plastic but really this should account for only the single star. Seeing as you can’t give zero stars, I’ll add 1 star to the lowest as a balance. If you are using the squares for basic construction and framing, these could possibly work for you depending on your standards. If you build furniture or cabinets and require accuracy then do not get these squares. I am immediately returning these.

Square enough
Other reviewers have mentioned that they aren't very precise, which is fair. But, they're plastic and $5 each, so set your expectations accordingly. These don't pretend to be precision machinist squares. If you need precision, get some 1-2-3 blocks or metal squares. One thing I did notice on mine is that they were all at least *consistently* out of square. The inside angle is slightly acute, which feels like a design flaw (not accounting for shrinkage in the mold). But, they're close enough and cheap enough that they're handy to have around the shop.Another flaw is the molded "ruler" on the sides, which is stupid and useless. It would be better, IMO, to have a flat surface, but nothing a quick sanding can't remove.

These are accurate and that's what matters most
Way cheaper than some options out there, and these do the job great. I bought these to help with a few glue ups that I had planned where I wanted to ensure a perfect 90 angle. The surface is large enough that it was easy to get some clamps on, and they were long enough to allow plenty of space between each clamp. The plastic is nice and hard and I don't have any concerns with them breaking. I checked each one with multiple squares and they are perfect. I'd gladly buy these again if I decide that I want another set.Pro's:Cheap priceAccuracyQualityCon's:None

Unexpectedly awesome
Great tool. No issues with sqaure. Just realize these are made to hold things squarely not pull things into sqaure. It appears that most the negative comments on this product are based on improper use more than poor product design. I find these more and more useful every time I use them. So much so that I ordered more

Square and strong out of the box.
These are great. I checked them against my Starrett machine squares. These are within 1/128th over their length both inside and out. This is more than good enough for wood working. If you wanted to adjust them you could always use a scraper or a plane to get them perfect. I have not stress tested these to see what amount of force is required to move them out of true. Very strong construction in general. I recommend these to help you get your projects put together nicely and save the clamp scuff marks on your piece as well.

These are as square as you can get
While these are smaller than some people are looking for they are a good general use positioning square. If you are working on something longer than 4 feet, you may not like these. I just recently used them for a carrying case with 30 inch sides that I was making; it was critical that the sides had to be very very close to square. These positioning squares did a perfect job. I was working In a tight space, and failure to keep it square would not allowed me to insert the item being protected. Now...about perfect square; if you extend the sides out 50 feet for something you are making, I'm willing to bet, if you are not using a laser guided square it will not be square... at least if you are using any standard square.

Solid, sturdy, easy to work with.... just a very tiny bit out of square, but a non issue.
These were a nice surprise. I wasn't expecting such a nice solid well made tough set of squares at the price point. Easy to clamp, strong enough to not flex and reasonably light and easy to work with. Highly recommend.Three out of four are just very slightly out of square. Perhaps 0.11° off. A non issue when working with wood. Todays tools give us the ability to make ourselves crazy because we can measure things we never could before.

Great Product
I used them with clamps to ensure pocket hole joints were tight before inserting the screws. No problems what so ever. They appear to have rock solid construction.
