Nice wide beam angle so they give plenty of light without being too focused. Look okay in the fitting too.

Very happy with these. I bought them to replace some older LED bulbs that I had installed in my kitchen about 10 years ago and the difference is huge! It was a shock to the system at first just how much brighter they are and I thought for a moment that I had overdone it and may have to return them, but after 24 hours I have adapted and I love them. I'm always a little nervous of buying lightbulbs online after a couple of previous failures, but these seem high quality and were well packaged in very credible-looking boxes, exactly as you would expect to get from a shop. They give a nice warm yellowish light and really good wide coverage. The only downside is that I will probably have to redecorate now because they show up the old paintwork so much more!
