Nice case for hdd
Got the blue and black case both fit hard drives well , they come with adhesive foam pads to hold the drives in place if required. Easy to put the HDD in, drives were recognised as soon as they were plugged in. Work well with Linux

Good enclosure & great value at the promotional price
Good value for the price, easy install & was great to see built-in foam strip to help movement free install with additional foam provided if needed.It was simple plug n play on 2.5 SATA HDD on both windows & the android tablet.Whilst it's USB 3.0 spec but the read/write speed you'd actually get will depend on the HDD itself.Definitely recommended at its current promotional price, hard to recommend when at normal price as metal body options are available in the same price band where some even includ a case/cover.

Great price and works straight from the box. Simple and a great way to reuse your old laptob drives.
Such a useful item. It was very easy to set up and works perfectly. I liked the item so much I immediately purchased a second one. I have removed the hard drives from my old laptops and installed into this enclosure. My old laptops may be dead but the drives can now live on.

Bought in October 2023, it failed in April 2024. Which is a shame, even I expected it to last longer than that. No it wasn't super expensive, but i expected better. Otherwise the unit is fine, yeah it's plastic but that's fine, hard drive fits snug, usb 3 speeds were very good, activity led useful. Nothing too much to complain about when it was working.The company who sold it rapidly refunded me after it failed, so I bought another one, willing to take another punt given the good support and that most others have had good experiences

Works - and works well
Bought when changing my desktop.Removed HDD from old proper desktop which was being replaced by a mini, but wanted an easy way of retaining data on internal HDD on desktop.Found this enclosure at good price allowing me to keep and use old HDD on new mini and it worked perfectly.

A cheap and good (enough) enclosure
Pros:- cheap. Yes the plastic doesn't have a premium feel or anything, but it's an enclosure not a flagship smartphone.- easy to install and use- fast (see benchmark of a Samsung EVO SSD disk connected via USB 3).My previous enclosure was USB 2 and it makes a world of difference - USB 3 is more than 10 times faster on the benchmarks I did with the same disk.Cons:- minor issue: shipping was one day late. Nothing else so far.I've only had it for a day so far - hope it will last.
