Have yet to find a single spool that wasn't all-one-length, no knots, no frays, just good quality ribbon. Cute little spools, too, with the added touch of a home-printed label for Thread Nanny. They're cute.EACH SPOOL is separately shrink-wrapped, and the final grouping is shrink-wrapped together. Shipping, water, weather, nothing will get to these babies. :)Will order again at some point - very nice.
