Sweet relief from belly button pain
I am the wife of the buyer. This is my 6th pregnancy and my 7th child. My oldest is 20 years old and I've had a set of twins. Every single pregnancy has been different. This is the first time I've used a maternity belt. I'm pretty frugal and don't like to spend money on something that won't get used and used well. The reason I finally considered a maternity belt is because I started experiencing belly button pain in my 5th month of pregnancy. I've never experienced it before but it was awful. It was quite painful and there was no relief from it. I found that placing my hand over my belly button when I moved help the pain some. I researched belly button pain during pregnancy online and found that it's very common and mysterious (meaning doctors don't know what causes it) and nothing can be done about it. Some people stated that their doctor recommended a maternity belt. Amazon has lots of different kinds of maternity belts. A lot of them are designed to reduce back pain. Many are designed to fit below the belly button. I wanted one that would cover my belly button instead of me having to place my hand over it every time I moved.I've had the belt for about 2-3 weeks now. I've not experienced any belly button pain since I began wearing it. I like the snugness around my middle that the belt provides. My core muscles are not what they used to be and I didn't realize I needed the extra support. It helps hold everything in place and I don't feel the strain on my muscles , back and abdominal, that used to be there. I generally feel a lot better than I did before I started wearing it. I didn't really think a piece of cloth around my middle would help all that much, but I stand corrected. I like the design of the LucyVee belt. I like being able to tighten it with velcro on two sides. Other belts only had one velcro point. I can feel the support being evenly distributed around my whole middle with the two velcro straps. It hides well underneath clothing. I can control the tightness of the belt easily which is really important to me because I struggle with breathlessness during pregnancy. It's never too tight that I feel like I can't breathe.Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. It's well priced compared to others and it meets my needs. Anything to help me feel better for the duration of this pregnancy! If you are on the fence about whether to buy a maternity belt or not, I say go for it. It's worth the cost.

So glad I found this.
I have two other maternity support belts (one cost over $80 and the other is an actual therapeutic abdominal splint) but this is my favorite. I love that it covers the belly button, unlike most support bands. I have a mild diastasis recti that causes a lot of pain around the bellybutton area and this has helped immensely. I couldn't have have taken my toddler to Disneyland without it. I would say it provides a moderate level of support when worn tightly. It took me a couple of days to get used to the velvety material against my skin but now I consider it pretty comfortable. It is my go-to support band because it shows the least under my clothing compared to my other two support bands. It is not stretchy at all like I was expecting but that's probably why it's still held up so well after a few months of daily use. I highly recommend it.

I did not return it because the only single day I used it end up looking like if I have been using it for weeks
I bought this belt hoping that it would help with the pelvic pressure, but it did absolutely nothing. I am 8 months pregnant and I definitely think that this is not the right belt for advance pregnancy, it might work during the first trimester for back pain, but I doubt that as the belly grows it would be of any help because is extremely soft that actually wrinkles so quick. Another thing I noticed is that since is just one-size it really don't fit well my belly, it is sort of big and it is weird because I actually have a big belly bump. I did not return it because the only single day I used it end up looking like if I have been using it for weeks. I am trying to find a different use for it but I probably will end up taking it to the thrift shop. I wish I could have bought a firmer belt.

It was ok
It was alright, used for a couple of days but it would not be comfortable to sit or move around in so I ended up returning since I couldn’t wear it conveniently. It helped a lot with belly button pain I was having but I easily could have just wrapped my belly with cloth to keep it from getting touched. Support was alright not too much but it did help a little.

Strong, supportive, easy to use.
Super easy to put on, adjust, and take off. This makes it far preferable, as far as I'm concerned, to the models that have two or more straps. My only reservations are that it could be a bit more comfortable to wear on bare skin--the material is not irritating, but also not particularly soft or soothing--and that I wish to goddess it came in colors other than pink. But those really aren't major concerns. Buy this one; the price is right and it provides good back support and takes pressure off those groin muscles as one's abdomen grows--even during a vigorous walk or, for the moment or two I'm able to do it, a jog.

LIFE SAVER FOR THE PETITE!
I got this around month 5 or 6 when I started to show just a bit and ligament pain kicked in. I didn't know what else to do and was working full time.I'm full term now and still using it. IT HAS HELPED SO MUCH!During these past months I owe my activeness to this belt. It cut down on the back pain and heaviness too.I wore it for about 10 hours when working. Or if I was in a lot of pain; I'd sleep with it on too.I'm very petite; 5'2" and started at 103lbs before pregnancy. I'm up to 142lbs now in the photo and am on maternity leave now. I still use this belt when I go out or move around a lot.I 100% recommend. It also comes with bra strap extenders, but I did not use them as my rib pain got very severe and had to forego bras all together in my later months. The material is soft (although I cut the small brand tag off cuz that bit was itchy) and wore this under my clothes just fine. No one could tell I had anything on.
