I have these. They don't work with my in-wall-mounted dimmer switch. I understood from the electrician that they won't work that way. You can call Philips to find out for sure if there's any way. Philips has good customer support that has helped me several times. I have their bulbs (with voice and app control) throughout the house.

Q: When you turn these off they continue to glow. Is there a solution to this? If I turn the switch off it works but that defeats the purpose.

This was a known behavior and was a software issue, not an issue with wall switches or manufacturing. There was an over the air update that has fixed this.
