While I haven't utilized the tagging features to their best ability yet
I was a little unsure about how much I would use the actual smartpen and if it would assist me in my note-taking diligence. While I haven't utilized the tagging features to their best ability yet, I have found the audio/pencasting feature invaluable. The ability to record notes during interviews and go back in time to find direct quotes is a game-changer, especially during ethnographic studies, and in-depth interviews.

Don't use multiples of the same notebook
I have absolutely loved using this pen and haven't even touched the surface with using the calendar and other paper products. One main thing that contribute to the 4 star review: using two of the same notebook without really careful syncing can cause the app to sync pages over each other. Apparently the dot matrix are the same in the different styles of notebooks, so using two of the same causing the pen to read the same page multiple times. To fix this, I have to have the notebook I didn't most recently write in locked in the app when I sync and flip the notebooks back and forth. After using the pen a bit more, you really don't need two different notebooks to keep things separate, since you can add tags to pages in the app to later search by, but it's still a slight glitch with the products over all.

You don’t know how much you need this
Game changing tech for me at work. The ability to print out paper is also brilliant and great for mind mapping or planning. I have integrated with one note and it is just brilliant.
