Literally 1/2 as effective as it's predecessor, perhaps less
I feel a little bit bait and switched by the manufacturer Linnet Biopharmaceuticals Inc. and Amazon. In late 2014 when this product changed and the emails went out to Subscribe and Save customers there was zero notification that they were cutting the amount of active ingredient in each pill in half so instead of taking one capsule of it's predecessor Rutaesom, you now have to take two of Rutacleanse for the same benefit. Now multiple months later after finally figuring this out I'm going to up the dose to see if it still works but I have the suspicion that I'm going to be disappointed by whatever else they didn't bother to disclose to their customers.

Effective for me
It works well for me if I have drunk coffee in the afternoon or evening (for some reason my morning coffee does not interfere with my sleep thank goodness). But I do agree with the reviewers who liked the original formula called Rutasomn better - I did too - liked taking only one pill and it was at least as effective as the two pills required now.

Nice trick by the manufacturer-they cut the dose in half
Not as effective as Rutasomn, which is no longer effective. You have to take twice as many Rutacleanse to get the same dose as Rutasomn and it still does not work as well. Nice trick by the manufacturer-they cut the dose in half, but kept the price the same.

Might Work For You
This "Rutacleanse Natural Acting Detox" is marketed as a natural way to remove caffeine from your system but after taking it for three days, and losing a good bit of sleep, I am not convinced that it works for me. I am quite literally addicted to caffeine, to the point where I get unpleasant headaches if there isn't a pot coffee made in the morning and need several sodas throughout the day. I usually stop after 7:00PM or so, but for the sake of this experiment continued up to 9:00PM. I took one of these (with a Coke) and then had difficulty getting to sleep before 1:00AM. Repeated experiment for three days, with the same results. Not sure if it just doesn't work on me or if I'm not using it correctly.CFHNote: It looks like like every critical review is being hit with "unhelpful" votes and all of the positive reviews are getting "helpful" votes. Amazon frowns on campaign voting by company owners/employees... it also calls all of that company's products in to question.

Well, it didn't make me feel worse...
I tried this out because sometimes I can feel jittery and can't think straight when I have too much caffeine. Honestly, I didn't notice any effect from taking this. That certainly might be because it states that it can take up to two hours to work, and caffeine seem to wear off for me faster than that. No noticeable decrease in caffeine, but also no noticeable side effects. I mention side effects because, while it didn't add any benefit for me, it clearly seems to have worked for others - so it might work for you. With no side effects, it's worth a shot if you are having issues with caffeine.Just take note of that two-hour claim. It isn't intended to help you go to sleep right away, but rather reduce your caffeine level over a period of time. If you're like me and don't stay awake for hours because of caffeine, this probably won't do much for you - but if caffeine keeps you up all night, then it might be worth a try based on what others here have said.
