Got this for some debugging and because it didn't have any lugs on one end (bane of serial) worked reliably and first time, watch the pricing - the length isn't equivalent to cost strangely, but this is well made and is sturdy.

Bought because the ATEN UC232A USB to Serial Converter has studs on its 9-way serial plug which prevented it being plugged in to my old RS232 device. Worked perfectly immediately and usefully extended the length of the converter cable, and no glitches.
