This screen is definitely an improvement over the original. Less ghosting and brighter. Soldering is challenging depending on what board revision it is. Some revisions can just use a solder bridge and others require a short wire for the bridge. It’s challenging because of how small the solder spot is to not have the wire roll off or get pulled up with the solder tip. I’m very happy with this :)

First of all the screen looks like it was handled poorly and has a deep scratch in it as well as other scratches all over it, and secondly when trying to connect the psp1000 ips connector to the screen cable it wouldn’t go in easily so under further inspection I noticed one of the connections is messed up preventing the cable to go in properly. At this point I immediately stopped installation. Absolutely horrible QC by the company and it seems like this was a used product that someone miss handled and returned now I got to waste my time and money thanks a lot will be returning this immediately.

I brought my old PSP out of storage recently and the screen was so dim compared to modern screens that I didn't even want to mess with it. Nothing wrong with it, it's just how it is. I happened to see a youtube video of this IPS screen. I searched and found it and saw that it wasn't much more expensive than the OEM type screen so I took a chance and ordered it. Honestly, it has breathed new life into my PSP. It looks amazing. No dead pixels, no ghosting or screen tearing anymore and best of all very bright and crisp! It looks modern now and I have been playing my old games like they are new. Best purchase in a long time! However, if you can't solder or don't know anyone that can, do NOT buy this. You only have to bridge one connection but it is tiny. I used my digital microscope to do the job but amateurs will find it a challenge if not impossible. You will destroy it if you don't know what you are doing.

Did not come with promised soldering paste, impossible to install properly without it, no support available

CAUTION!!! NO CONDUCTIVE PAINT! If you lack the skill to solder tiny parts... avoid this kit altogether... this kit DOES NOT come with the syringe full of conductive paint. The ONLY reason I gave this kit higher than a 1 is due to the fact the screen is good.

Nice screen. Product did not come with conductive paint as advertised though. Very difficult solder short for me to create with my shakey hands. All good otherwise.

I honestly thought this was going to give me issues. But it was my first time doing anything like this along with first time soldering and i probably took this apart 5 times and it still turned on. I tried the silver conductive paint and it worked but made a lot of static on the screen so thats why i just opted to solder it and it works great now. Massive upgrade tbh.

Well after soldering, the screen wasn't centered so I tried again and now I have lines only on the screen.

Got this today.. looking forward to it. But it was missing the 1x Silver conductive adhesive..
