Very strong steel. Not flimsy and only one cross bar to trap food instead of the usual two. They do wobble very slightly so all four feet aren't quite level, but it really doesn't matter.

Excellent quality racks

Was looking for a drip rack for an 8"X8" Pyrex dish. Found these and they work perfectly. Needed to use the 8"X8" as a roast rack for a small roast. Seems like everything is geared towards large meals, not so much for smaller meals. When ya get old, ya just don't cook for the tribe like ya used to. PLUS, I'm constantly discovering other applications for the racks. They're small, they store compactly. The little tits that the racks stand up on fit very securely within the perimeters of the 8"X8" pans and they fit quite nicely in the counter-top convection/conventional electric oven that I use ALL the time. For my needs, they were a key buy.

Ich halte Bienen und habe zum Einschmelzen von Waben einen Sonnenwachsschmelzer. Das Problem hierbei war immer, dass die Holzrahmen (in welche die Bienen ihre Wabe bauen) immer sehr versifft sind, da sie im Sonnenwachsschmelzer ständig in dem heruntertropfenden Wachs liegen. Da kam ich auf die Idee, mir eine Art Gitterrost in den Wachsschmelzer zu legen. So könnte das Bienenwachs gut abtropfen ohne die Holzrahmen zu arg damit zu verdrecken.Also bestellte ich mir 2x dieses Set mit je zwei kleinen Metallgittern mit kleinen Standfüßchen unten. Wirkt erstmal ganz brauchbar. Der Clou: die Gitter passen fast optimal in meinen Wachsschmelzer hinein, sodass beinahe die ganze Grundfläche abgedeckt ist. Klasse! Nun muss sich nur noch zeigen, ob meine Konstruktion in der Praxis funktioniert und wie langlebig das Metallgitter ist.

The last cooling racks I bought had almost a mesh-like surface. They were impossible to clean and rusted in the dishwasher. These two look much better. Heavier metal bars are far enough apart so I can easily clean them. Much better quality than the old ones. Very pleased with the purchase.
