Great screen!!
You would think for the price this thing would come assembled. With that said, the screen is great!! I was so anxious to try it out. It's like looking at a tv. Great quality and the ALR works great. It did take me a couple of hours to assemble. Definetly a 2 person job.

Very Good ALR UST Screen
The AWOL VISION Ambient Light Rejecting (ALR) 100” projector screen (C100) for UST projectors is a very decent screen. It provides an enhanced viewing experience compared to a plain white screen (by rejecting ambient light from above). The 95% Ceiling Light Rejecting(CLR) design really does work. No measurement were made by me to verify the 95%. But the effect looks good. The AWOL screen assembly is good design, but I am not saying it is an optimal design. There are competitors to AWOL, but I don’t see that anybody has an advantage over AWOL. One real down side is that these screens are not cheep from any brand. It is necessary to assemble and install the screen before using. It is obviously not practical to ship an assembled screen. I suspect that it would be correct to say that to assemble and install this screen is not for the faint at heart. I would expect many people are not mechanically inclined enough to handle the task. A single person can complete an installation if they are skillful enough. The screen was delivered to me on July 25, 2024, assembly began shortly afterwards (a reference date for the assembly instructions that I received). There was an included instruction manual and an online YouTube video. This review is only going to point out issues that I had and consequently what I did.First, the included instruction manual was dead wrong in the horizontal positioning of the wall mounting brackets. For the C100, the upper wall brackets should be between 55 to 65 inches horizontally apart (my opinion). In my installation, I was fortuitously to have wall studs ~64 inches apart just where I would like to have them (screen centered at the desired position). I noticed that when the screen is hanging on the brackets, you can slide the screen horizontally a couple of inches for a final position tweak. The ability to slide the screen on the wall brackets for a few horizontal inches is a plus.During assembly process, I used the bare inner frame to check the locations and the installation of the wall brackets. This is before the ALR screen material is installed on the inner frame. That was a great idea from AWOL’s YouTube video.A couple of other assemble instructions were not optimal, but do work especially if you understand the intent of the instructions.I gave the AWOL VISION ALR C100 screen 4 of 5 stars. Because of the spotty assembly instructions, I subtracted 1 star. However, AWOL has a good support team, they will listen to you and not blow you off or forget to return your emails.

Amazing quality even in bright conditions
I bought 120” daylight screen for my living room and it is fantastic. Even with lot of ambient light from large windows, the screen still performs so well, it feels like having a huge TV and doesn’t feel like a projector screen. Highly recommend for using in a room with lot of light

The 100-inch screen is Amazing!
I love our new LTV-3500. The video quality is amazing! In our theater room we had a 75-inch Sony TV, and it was very good, but we needed something bigger, so after several months of studding the new Laser technology projectors I decided to go with the LTV-3500 from AWOL and it was the best decision we made. Now we have 100-inch screen, and it looks amazing. The LTV-3500 colors are so good. I could have gone with the LTV-2500 model because the room is completely dark, but I told my self lets just go with the best, so that is the reason we went with the 3500 model.

Not easy to put together.
Picture looks great during the daytime. However the only issue we had was putting the screen together. Parts were the incorrect size or holes were not measured correctly when they were being cut from their warehouse or distribution center.

Incredible ALR
Not much else to say, this screen is incredible. It honestly wasn’t hard to set up, not sure if they have made improvements since the previous reviews but it’s like 16 screws, hand full of springs, and everything fit together perfectly. You can see from the picture with the lights on that the picture quality is amazing. That’s from an AWOL 3000 pro streaming YouTube TV.

Great
This is my first foray into projectors (paired with the AWOL LTV-2500), so I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, despite doing some major researching. So far, I’m very much in love with my new setup. Only a few minor gripes:1. Assembly was tricky. The instructions were clear enough, but there was one aspect of the assembly process that was a major pain. You stretch the edges of the fabric screen around the outside of the metal frame and then anchor it in place on the back side with a bunch of spring hooks. If you don’t get the screen centered PERFECTLY, you simply can’t get the final frame cover attached. I can’t see any reason for it to be so unforgiving - we were only off the slightest bit and can’t imagine it affecting the image at all. We had to go back through and detach every single hook and then very carefully reattach the hooks, ensuring that the screen was perfectly centered and didn’t shift at all - really painstaking and ultimately taking way longer than expected to finish assembling.2. If you’re hoping for the same kind of image you’d get on a flatscreen TV, you’ll want to lower your expectations just a bit. The resultant image is really great - crisp, colorful, and plenty bright - but it still has a slight ‘projector’ quality to it. In particular, it has the slightest shimmer/sparkle that reflects off the screen. It’s not a huge deal, and you pretty quickly forget about it, but it’s there.3. I’m still cringing a bit that I spent so much on this screen. It’s certainly nice, but it’s easily the same price as a nice flatscreen TV. I’m not entirely convinced it needs to cost this much.In the end, I don’t regret this purchase, but recommend making sure you know what you’re getting. Probably closer to 4.5 stars for me.
