I have had these lights installed for about a month. They have worked as advertised. I am really enjoying them. I have setup mine to come on at sunset and turn off at 12AM. They add just enough light liven up the evening and the many lighting options are fun to play with.Installing them can be a challenge, no fault of the lighting. I used some "DDMY Adhesive Hooks", since I have beams to attach them to. There are a lot of options on Amazon and the work really well.Note to manufacture: It would be nice if the set came in white as well as black.Pros:1) I like it that there is the 10ft of cord between the first bulb and the plug. As you can see from the picture, I did not need an extension cord.2) They are very sturdy. I think you would have to go out of your way to damage the bulbs. I really like the look of the acrylic bulbs.3) 11 different preset light combinations. One "Pick 2" option can even be customized.4) The white option allows you to change the temperature using a sliding scale it is dimmable.6) You can use the controller box to turn on/off the string, as well as the app.7) You have 2 options for pairing to the app and the instructions are written well. Make sure to read instructions BEFORE installing.Cons:1) They are not very bright. They provide plenty of light for entertaining, but you are not going to be reading a book. I would rather have them brighter and use the dimming option. This is not unique to this type of lighting, but worth mentioning.2) The controller box only allows you to cycle through the preset options. You have to use the app if you want the white only option. I suppose you could set the Pick 2 option to be white. I have not tried that.3) Pairing with the App took longer than expected. Part of it was my fault. I did not read the instructions first that says to pair it before installing, while being as close to the router as possible. I used the second paring option and that worked well.4) The app is not as user friendly as I would have liked, when it comes to using the advanced auto timer features.

Nice even warm lighting, with the RBG option. People seem to complain about the brightness, which was a concern for me. But once they were up and spaced the way I wanted, I could say I could go with less brightness and still be satisfied. I’ve had these lights up for several months now, so far they’ve held up through several bad rain storms, look forward to seeing how they fair in the summer heat and the winter months. My only worry is the bulbs, these are diodes pointing down the bulb from the base to give the effect of Edison lights. Should one of these lights malfunction, I’m worried I won’t be able to replace the bulb and would have to get a whole new set. Otherwise I am satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend these.

I live full time at a campground during the summer months. I have had numerous string lights over the years. These are by far the best string I have ever had!!!Key features:1)You can program each bulb to a different color of your choice.2)There is a timer so we don't have to worry about forgetting to turn them off before we go to bed. You set the length of time you want them on.3) You can schedule them to turn on at a particular time every night or whenever you like it Monday/Wed/Friday, just weekends or whenever.4) The cord is super sturdy! Commercial grade I would say. It's very thick.5) Comes with small zip ties, which we won't use, but I can use them for something else around the camp.6) There are pre programmed themes that are great! Halloween, New Years, Festive, Christmas etc. There are 13 different ones to choose from. You cannot change the preprogrammed ones, BUT! You can make a whole new color theme by programming each bulb.7) No need for a dimmer switch! You can dim the bulbs on the app.8) Works great with Alexa! I said "Alexa, change my sting lights to red and they changed. Although you cannot tell Alexa to change the lights to your custom string theme (or I just haven't figured out what to say to her yet)Pairing the lights with the wifi was a bit tricky but in their defense we are using public wifi and we are experiencing a major storm right now. Repeated the set up 3 times and it worked. Just have patience!!!My picture with the white light is all the way dimmed and then all the way bright.I am in love with these lights! Can't wait to hang them up!

I love how bright these lights are and that you can change/customize colors. Connecting to Alexa was a breeze. I had an issue after having them for a bit where only part of the strings were lighting up. I contacted customer service and they were amazing!! quick response and they replaced my lights within a few weeks.

I was looking for a way to provide some task/safety lighting for the parking pad next to our garage. We have also been using this area for a patio for certain occasions. The warm white lighting setting provides a great all around regular light source, and while my wife and daughter were not in favor of the colored lighting at first, after I showed them how we can customize the color scheme and the level of intensity, they decided the colors would provide a nice ambiance for certain special occasions. I also like that we can program the lights to work with our Amazon Alexa to work with routines I have set up. The lights come on when we need them, turn off with the routines, and give that extra sense of security and safety. Plus, the fact that the lights are LED provides a huge cost savings.

Love these lights. The neighborhood I live in has no street lights of any kind so it's hard to see when u get home- but these lights change that. The house is lit up and doubles as holiday decor when the time comes because there are so many options for colors. The lights even have some preprogrammed holiday light set ups in it- like red/green for Christmas and red/white/blue for the 4th of July. Easy to set up and use with the app you have to download.
