Very fast target re-aquisition.
If I had not already replaced my sights on all my other pistols, I would prefer to use the Big Dot over other sights. The Big Dot really does help to get you back on target fast.

I loved the idea of the dot and I. It really makes aiming so much faster and easier. However on the PX4, the front sight is way too tall. Putting the dot on the target, I was hitting about 2 to 2.5 inches too low at 15 feet. This makes sense if you look at the height of the stock sights vs this one. Both the Big Dot and stock rear sights are about the same height, but the front sight is much taller on the Big Dot. I was still very precise with the Big Dot, but my accuracy was way off. The other problem of the tall front sight. I have a very nice leather holster from Beretta. Because of the tall sights, my PX4 didnt fit in the holster anymore.

Gets on target fast
Great combat sight for rapid target acquisition at close range (less than 15 yds). No problems mounting the sight. The vertical was right on for my full size PX4 Storm (.40 S&W). I wish the rear white sight was a little more visible. It is difficult to see if you are in the shadows shooting out into a lighted area. It's manageable but it slows you down trying to get the sight picture. The tritium glow is nice in low light conditions. This is not a precision target sight and not meant to be. It is for quick on target shots. Great site for this purpose.
