The media could not be loaded. Why did you pick this product vs others?:A friend that knows fountains and pond limbs recommended this as she has had no issue with hers-so I bought it. This was my first attempt at building a fountain and this pump has made it easy. The cord is super long and though the fountain is in the middle of my yard, the 33 ft cord gets to the house for power. Set up was a breeze. Super powerful and quiet. Love the sound the water makes when it drops: price was reasonable and it comes with a mesh cover to help from junk getting in there.

No on or off switch and no automatic shutoff. It does not get as low as I hoped for but it is sturdy construction with a good handle and pumps very well. It is worth the price.

Works well when it works. It died after 10 months of use. Getting it replaced with the 1 year warranty is going to be interesting.Update -3 days after contacting customer service, they are sending a new pump. They stand behind their products and also educate proper care of their items. Definitely would do business with them in the future..Update. A week after contacting customer service, a new pump has been received. Constant contact was made to assure that I was getting the replacement

We purchased this pump for a new water runoff. This retention pond is clay based, so we were concerned about the debris build up in the pump. This pump comes with a mesh bag to protect it from the dirt in the water. we did bolt the pump to a skid to protect it from the bottom and the clay. The only thing is it doesn't come with a sprinkler for the top. I thought it would come with a generic small sprinkler but it didn't. Overall, very satisfied with this item.

I was skeptical about the price, but the reviews were very good do I bought it. I'm very happy. Easy to install. Big water flow. Takes a 2 inch pipe! I thought the volume was adjustable. I don't think it is. This pump would be too much flow for smaller applications. Easy to clean - so far just bouncing off debris from the bag that came with it. I hope it last a long time. Use is recirculating water from a reservoir improve water quality for habitat. (reviewed on day 2)Updated review ---6 days later - DEAD! Will not turn back on. Not obstructed. I thought don't worry, there is a phone number on the user manual. Called it - would not connect, phone number not valid. Then... I tried the website. Submitted: Have a problem. please call me asap. NOTHING. So, I went to a local irrigation supply store and paid just under $500 for a 1hp ShinMaywa that my local pond guy told me he has clients that these have lasted up to 14 years.Seemed to good to be true and it was!
