This light is fancy, make no mistake. It looks like something you’d see in a hoity toity boudoir. And that’s exactly where it was installed. My closet is spectacular—marble tile, white cabinetry with rose gold hardware, velvet tufted bench. I basically wanted Mariah Carey’s closet in MTV’s Cribs. This light was the finishing touch and it is perfection. It’s really hard to find rose gold lighting, as it turns out. I was so happy to find this after a very long search. It’s sturdy and solid; doesn’t feel cheap. It’s been in my boudoir for two years and works perfectly. Not as bright as I’d like, but I found a matching table lamp that augments this light very well.

After all is said and done the chandelier looks AMAZING! I get compliments on it all the time. It’s classy, modern, and elegant in all the right ways. It looks so much more expensive than it was, however... The installation was a NIGHTMARE! Even though you are supplied with little cheesy gloves, it’s nearly impossible not to get fingerprints all over the bottom glass, and they do not wipe off easily! The wires are incredibly short and it’s impossible to see when you’re attaching them. The brackets and the bolts don’t lineup quite right and are strangely difficult. It took forever to install and we were incredibly frustrated by the end. Also the bulbs you are supplied with do not give off hardly any light so plan on replacing those as well.

I was lucky that I had contractors in my house finishing up some work after a house fire and I asked them to install this light. Took both of them 2 hours to figure it out. Instructions were useless. I was not aware this did not take regular lightbulbs so that was an extra trip to the hardware store However once it was installed it's beautiful. the light prisms in the crystals with little tiny rainbows. very beautiful.

Tip: order your bulbs when you order the fixture if you want LED! Pictured with 5000K daylight white 40W E12 bulbs. We chose to replace our builder grade five light chandalier in our playroom/formal dining room. I wanted something jazzy enough that if we chose to transition back to a formal eating area that it would look nice. This semi-flush was more than I wanted to spend, but it's so pretty! We have a tiny crystal chandalier in our entry way that is visible from certain parts of the living room, so this ties in nicely. The light is diffused and much more calm than before. When it is on its really hard to photograph how beautiful it is! Husband said: Be sure to impress how well packaged it was. It was easy to install (20 mins), but it is a "cheap" fixture in the sense that if you knock it you could easily damage it. It's not heavy or thick metal at all. He had no trouble installing the diffuser.

It’s is a beautiful light. Well constructed, solid, and the light through the crystals is lovely. Very pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend. Here’s what I learned in the installation: Short wires: Yes, the wiring is a little short, but I just split open the wire sleeve, which gave me more “room” to work with the two wires. It takes E26 base bulbs. Just like the description says (some are thrown off because the generic pictures in the posting show the two-prong IKEA-style halogen receptacles. Disregard these. Standard e26 chandelier bulbs are all you need.) The mounting bracket and the nuts and bolts that pin the light to the ceiling are not North American standard. The bolts are thicker and wider. However, I simply used an old “standard size” set that worked just fine, as the holes in the top plate are small enough that standard lighting nuts will hold it in place without issue. USE THE GLOVES PROVIDED when touching the glass “bottom”. Otherwise you WILL end up with fingerprints all over it. This will clean, but it’s an unnecessary hassle. Also, the piece that holds the glass unscrews, so the glass is held between two pieces and doesn’t just rest on top. (The printed instructions are a little hazy on that one.) And lastly, as another reviewer recommended, put the entire fixture together first, bulbs included, and THEN install it all at once, and you should have no problems. Conclusion: I had some concerns when reading the reviews about difficult installation, but to me they were unfounded. Yes, it takes a little fiddling and a couple of extra pieces, but nothing beyond the skills of your everyday DIYer.

Looks beautiful once installed. Zero response from the seller so you are on your own for this one. I posted a question and no answer but I still bought it, thinking if something's goes wrong, I would just return it- that's the Amazon way- all good for me. The previous reviewers were right, some parts didn't seem right for the NA octagonal fixtures. But here are some hacks: 1. Get a white, black and ground wire from another old lamp or a hardware store as these wires are short and difficult to work with. Or use a blade to strip off the white and black wire to make more working room. Use electrical insulating tapes to seal any exposed wires. . 2. Use a mounting bracket from another lamp and mount this fixture's bracket on top of that. Or buy a new generic bracket for this hack. Use the second bracket to screw it onto the octagon and the fixture's bracket below that. Also the mounting screws are short so you could take those to the hardware store to get an inch longer to make things easy. I somehow spent a lot of time working without the wire and screw extensions but it was frustrating like hell - so it is possible but very difficult The final product looks great. All the best.

This item came to me rusty. Very disappointed with the state of the item.
