I mean. It's a hat sponge lol. Definitely a necessity when you have a felt hat to keep them smooth and clean.

I was a little skeptical that these were going to work but they actually work extremely well! Brushes the lint off my wool hat easily. Very happy with these.

So, not much to review, really. This "might" be a little stiffer than the sponges that are orange, but that isn't clear. They are a convenient size to hold in the hand. They really do work well to spiff up felt hats. Seem to work well on my wool, beaver, and rabbit felt fedoras. I've noticed with really old hats, a lot of "stuff" will come off when brushed. I assume this is old dried parts of the hat. This will make a mess, but the sponges can be tapped out and most of the crap will come off. I've also rinsed them. I can't see that these would need to be replaced. They suggest using one for light color hats and one for your dark color hats, which makes sense. Both sponges are the same color, though.

Work well with my hat collection. Good purchase overall.

These hat sponges are almost magical. A quick brush-over with one after each day and my cowboy hat is back to its perfectly pure black again. Every speck of dust/lint is easily picked up by these and keeps the hat looking great.I'm still not sure what the difference is between the "light" sponge and the "dark" one (they look almost identical), but either one seems to work great.

The items seem to work OK. They cleaned my felt hat OK.

I have an expensive wool felt Stetson hat that I have had for many years. I left it in a closet and discovered this season that it was covered with white spots. I tried wiping it and rubbing it to no avail. I researched hat cleaning and found these and their spot remover. Before using the spot remover, I used the sponge and gently rubbed it counterclockwise around that hat and the spots disappeared. Based on this experience, I will keep the spot remover powder for future needs.
