I've been using this for two weeks now and I have to say that I am happy with the results.With the first wash, I was a little apprehensive because of how my hair felt while in the shower. It definitely feels different compared to how my hair feels with regular shampoo and conditioner. It's rough feeling and is hard to run my fingers through while wet. However, after drying, it feels surprisingly similar to how it would with regular products. I have very fine, straight hair, and I don't notice a stunning improvement in the health or manageability of my hair. It just feels normal. I do wash every day, so I didn't go through a transition period where my hair was more greasy. I did initially experience a bit more hair loss, which was concerning, but that seems to have returned to normal. I also had a problem with static for a few days, but I quit using my plastic comb after researching a bit and that helped. I put argan oil on my hair also, which helps moisturize.The shampoo bar itself does have a strong essential oil smell, which was personally a bit off-putting at first. It doesn't linger on hair though and I don't smell it after use. It lathers and rinses well. It also cuts time, since you only have to apply and rinse one thing instead of two if you were using regular shampoo and conditioner. I also like that the bar comes packaged in minimal plastic and is relatively inexpensive. I can tell that it is going to last longer than regular product would as well, which saves me more money. The key to getting it to last longer is to store it in a place where water can't get to it. I purchased a soap dish with a suction cup and put it at the opposite end of the shower.TL:DR - Overall good replacement for traditional shampoo and conditioner. Cleans just as well and minimizes plastic waste. Strong smell, but does not linger on hair. Inexpensive and lasts a good while.

Trying to reduce my use of plastic packaging.... hopefully every little bit helps. This is a good smelling and effective shampoo bar. Tea tree oil is not overwhelming and the bar leaves my hair clean and manageable.

I did a lot of research before buying this bar. I transitioned to this bar from a bottled shampoo and conditioner that had no sulfates, parabens, our mineral oil so I didn't have any of the bad hair that people get when moving to a natural bar. This bar is easy to use, lathers well enough (even though lather isn't necessary for clean), and rinses squeaky clean. I use a diluted ACV rinse but only because I have a lot of split ends (I'm way overdue for a trim). My hair is pretty long (halfway down my back) and although it it fine in texture, there is a lot of it. I had no issue brushing it after washing and it's soft and feels very clean. I go 4 days between washing but I could probably go longer as this bar keeps my hair from getting greasy without drying it out.Here's the one problem with this bar and why I'll never buy it again...it WREAKS of Patchouli! The whole package from Amazon with the bar in it could be smelled before even opening my front door. Now, the smell left on my hair isn't too strong but I can still smell it, especially if I sweat it after I let it down from a bun. Not only do I seriously dislike the smell of Patchouli, but my boss has a super sensitive nose and perfume smells like this give her a migraine so this bar is a huge no.I didn't knock off a star because of the smell because I'm the dummy who didn't notice that it listed Patchouli as one of the scents. I knocked off the star because a bar this strongly scented should have mention of the scent in the title and not just list it once at the very end under "Scent". This is a huge disservice to buyers since most people either love or hate this very strong perfume-like scent. If you don't like Patchouli, then you won't like this bar.

Reading some of the other reviews, I wonder if they are trying the same shampoo bar. Hands down, this is the best product I've ever used to clean my hair. I have short hair, so maybe that has something to do with it, but i can't imagine any way to improve the results I get from using this. Plus it's convenient, and very much made from natural ingredients. The smell is pleasant, but strong. It doesn't make my hair smell, but scents the bathroom heavily before you use it a few times. For me that's the only drawback. I'd prefer an odorless option, but it's a small downside for something that does such a great job of washing my hair, and making it feel healthy. Highly recommend.

Adquirí este shampoo sólido por los ingredientes que contiene pues creo que me ayudarán pues padezco de caspa y cabello graso. Es cierto que deja una sensación de cabello un poco pesado (aún que mi cabello es corto) y que es un poco más pequeño de lo que imaginaba que sería pero le doy 5 estrellas porque me encantó su olor a aceites esenciales principalmente de menta, ese olor a hierbas naturales me encanta, además de que hace buena espuma (y eso que el agua de mi región es bastante dura y por lo que sé los shampoos sólidos funcionan mejor con agua suave) cosa que no hacían los anteriores shampoos sólidos que había probado, pues acostumbro a lavar el cabello cada 2 días, y me costaba un poco de trabajo que los shampoos sólidos barrieran la grasitud del cuero cabelludo a laprimera lavada, cosa que este shampoo si cumple, por lo cual creo que a pesar de su tamaño tardará bastante tiempo (igual lo alterno con el shampoo t-gel de neutrógena (1 día el t-gel, 1 día este shampoo sólido) y hasta el momento mi cuero cabelludo está estupendo. si lo volvería a comprar.

Mi sono trovata molto bene con la saponetta! Ho i capelli mossi e crespi e dopo due mesi sono diventati più morbidi e lucenti. Il profumo che rimane è buonissimo! Spero che torni disponibile su amazon. Ho provato a fare di nuovo l'acquisto ma non c'è 😢

I have suffered from dandruff since puberty. I have used H&Ss (or rather store own brand alternatives) for 15 years now. They worked, but if I missed a day, the next day was spent in my own personal itchy blizzard. Then I had an epiphany. All those chemicals on my head EVERY DAY are probably doing more harm than good. So I took a punt on this. Loaded with natural oils and lovely smelling stuff this is the polar opposite of 'cooked in vats, mass produced chemical goop'.The first time I used it I used WAAAAAY too much. I practically drowned in lather. I quickly learning that for my hair I only need rub this bar of herby gloriousness on my head for a brief 4 circles to get the perfect amount. My hair feels the cleanest it ever has. It smells amazing. My dandruff is gone. Doesn't come back for days (I shower every day anyway, but it's nice to know I don't HAVE to). I cannot recommend this highly enough.And I know what's holding you back, I hear you crying - "but Steve, It's seven hundred pennies for some shampoo?!" Yeah, cheap it's not. But at my early projections (amazon wouldn't let me upload the chart) this will last for freaking ages. AND THERE'S NO PLASTIC!Mind blown. Hair clean.
