good, worth the price
Good, nice and solid, well made, good amount of light, but not too much. Perfect for sneaking in to check on patients in a healthcare setting.

Great tool for healthcare
I love the way this light pen looks and works. I'm able to put it in my lab coat or scrubs for school and it's nice to be able to change it between the black or silver color. It's nice that they add a ruler for TB reading, pupil dilation and a mm reader too insted of going and grabbing different items or memorizing most of it. It's really sturdy since I've accidentally dropped it a few times during class. The light on the pen is pretty bright and can be used not only on patients but in case your looking for something in your bag. It's small and a great gift for any healthcare worker.

All i know is that my director for the program i am enrolled in said it would be a good idea to have a pen light. I don't know if I will be checking pupil dilation or not (haven't started clinical yet) but she mentioned it makes it easier to check vents at night without disturbing a patient who wants the lights off. These seem to be high quality compared to some of the cheap plastic ones i have used in labs, the ones that you squeeze the clip portion to turn it on.. JUNK. These came with the batteries uninstalled, and the LED bulbs installed. It also comes with a warm bulb for each pen. NOWWWW... I was skeptical at first having an LED light for shining in peoples eyes.... It does not bother me, or my mom (who is a nurse). Its nice to have the option of warm or LED, however, i think i would have been happier with JUST replacement bulbs of the what was installed already, not an choice of warm or led. WHY you may ask? Because if i chose to use the warm light, and it blows out, i have to buy a new set rather than replace it with the spare (because the spare is an LED). These ARE inexpensive, but it would be inconvenient to have to reorder and wait for replacements. I understand that they were giving us options, but they should have you choose if you want LED or Warm lights.

Top notch for the field
Love the color and functionality. Size is great for the pocket and I love the sturdy clip that, ensures that it won't fall out of my pocket. The battery life is great.

The best diagnostic penlight I've had so far. Don't buy a generic penlight. Buy Risemart's.
After several weeks of heavy use in EMS, hospital, and military environments, I assure you that this will be the last set of diagnostic pen lights you'll need for a while. I bought two boxes (4 total) and haven't killed the first one yet. They have continued working no matter how many times I drop, submerge, and get sand in them. The generic $5 penlights I bought before never would have lasted this long. I'd always buy them in bulk because i expected them to die quickly. I'd need to push the bulb in to get it to work. The bulb and plastic body might crack from a drop. The clip would break or fall off. The battery would drain in my pocket. Not with this this. I think it's the way that these are designed. The sunken bulb means it's harder to damage from a drop. The clips (while they FEEL cheap) are pretty well-secured. The battery compartment screws tightly. The body is metal (aluminium?) and the button is covered by a rubber cap, so it doesn't turn on in my pocket. Each pen light also comes with replacement bulb in case it does break. I applaud Risemart. I'm very impressed. Reviewed on 10/6/18.Edit: It's 4/17/21 and Amazon told me that this review has 50 upvotes. Time to update!I still have two of the four I originally purchased. I didn't have problems with any of them. I lost the other two in the field. I still highly recommend these!
