Cuts oxidized gelcoat very well.
Works wonderfully. I used #3 heave cut in the past, this is great if you stay on top of your gelcoat

Great product
Can never go wrong with 3M. Did exactly what I needed it to do. I had scratches in my gel coat and now you cannot even tell. Left my Boats gel coat lookin like new!

Does the job but I will use polish and wax in two steps next time
Easy to use. Shine was adequate. Didn't last as long as I had hoped. After researching articles about gelcoat care, I will use two different products and steps to polish and wax instead of this all-in-one product.

Great polish
Used on a 1998 cobalt boat. My gel coat has been maintained very well over the years but I figured it could use a little polish. I’ve always been a fan of 3M products so I thought I’d give this a shot. There was a small area of oxidation on the boat and this stuff wasn’t able to take care of it. It did however smooth out fine scratches and left the rest of the boat very smooth and ready for a fresh coat of wax.I used a griots garage DA buffer on speed 3.5 with a T10 polishing pad.If you have oxidation or a lot of scratches I’d go with a product that has more cutting power. This is a very fine cutting polish so don’t expect it to take out anything too deep.
