## Questions & Answers

**Q: After macros are set, can i switch keyboard to a new pc that i cannot install software on, and the keyboard and assigned macros still work (work pc)?**
A: Technically, it will still work, and the functions you set will be stored in the keyboard. You can change the computer at will.

**Q: Is there any way for the key to send a double-tap of either ctrl or scroll lock? my monitor switch uses ctrl-ctrl-1 or scrlk-scrlk-1 as a hotkey.**
A: sure. You can use the script function through this website：
 https://dl.sayobot.cn/help/std

**Q: If i buy 2 will the software recognize them as device A and device B so i can program differently or will they sync rendering the 2nd one useless?**
A: I haven't tested yet, but I believe they will be registered separately? The Sayo Device application basically searches for the USB and then allows you to connect to it through a web interface to program it. I suspect two devices will register separate HID's and therefore ought to show up as different devices in the Sayo device programming application. I will be buying another soon but perhaps someone else can confirm, I just believe the answer is yes.

**Q: how do you import/export/backup your settings? I do not see that as an option.**
A: There is a backup option in the windows software. Choose backup, then what to backup and press the check icon. Make sure your in backup and not restore mode under "state".

I don't use the web version so I can't say if it can do it or not.
