Is this useful for warming up cold shoes in winter, or is the heat too little?

it will definitely warm up cold shoes in winter. I used it to dry my shoes that were soaked through and through and it did a fantastic job.

Does this direct air towards the toe of the boot? Other boot dryers seem to have a bend at the end of the pegs, but this one is straight.

i have 7mm neoprene booties for divers.. will this product harm them?

Not sure. Has a timer...10 to 120 minutes. Might get hotter the longer the minutes. Not sure. Has not damaged my son's soccer goal keeping gloves...which have various materials on the outside...like neoprene. No damages to his gloves or cleats. Sadly, no temperature degrees listed. Not sure how hot it gets. Mfg might know--could ask them this question. As I am not familiar with diver gloves in anyway... But--again, no issues with soccer gloves..and it's Amazon...you could probably purchase the dryer, save packing and packaging slip, try it out...on low time...and you will know...if it's a keeper...if not, return.

Nothing is happening I plugged it in turn the dial literally nothing is happening. Am I doing something wrong?

I only had to plug mine in and turn the timer - sounds like you need to send yours back. When it works, it’s awesome. I used it tonight to dry my son’s goalie gloves. They would have stayed wet for days without this dryer.
