Dynamo DYOHTA30L Portable Plastic Oil Drain with Adjustable Funnel Height (8 Gallon)

This unit is less expensive than many other oil drain units. It has a nice large funnel. For most of the vehicles I do oil changes on, the funnel is large enough the catch the oil from the oil pan drain and when the oil filter is loosened. One thing I would recommend in any oil drain is a no-splatter pad. The pad keeps the hot oil from slashing out of the funnel.The unit will hold 8 gals. of oil, however, when full it will weigh about 68 pounds. I have a waste oil furnace, so I empty the drain after 2 or 3 oil changes.

Works great ... easy to drain ... lightweight!

Good bang for your buck. The tube slides a little too easy in the jug. I even added a 2nd clamp to help with that. Other than that minor issue it works very well. I have a small scissor lift I use this with

Poor quality. No matter how tight you tighten the clamp it still doesn’t stay in position. Oil leaks out of bolt hole where bolt goes through to hold the two pipes together. I would return it and get my money back but I’m not dealing with boxing it up and dealing with shipping. Wasted my money

The overall construction of the tub is fine. The fact that they screwed the casters through the bottom into the tub basin is ridiculous. Three of the four caster locations leaked. Huge puddle of oil on my garage floor. Being handy, I was able to use some sealing material around each of the caster mounting holes and stopped the leaks. Simply adding rubber washers to the mounting points would most likely stop the leaks from occurring. The fact that this product is supposed to hold liquid, and doesn't coming from the manufacturer, is disappointing. I did give 2 stars, and that is because, once fixed, the product is fine.
