If I recall the bottle contents is white. When using it with the hose the water liked more white than clear. I have a large yard and use a full bottle each time. If you mean the bottle contents doesn’t go now after use, then it could be that that the nozzle to release the contents isn’t working correctly.

No dilution just connect hose. Ask amazon to send you another bottle first bottle nozzle broke on me don't over tighten hose.
