Art Meets Soundproofing: Turning Down the Volume with Acoustic Panels
The rumble of the train is less of a background character and more of an unwanted lead in the soundtrack of my home. The Large Acoustic Panels have been a game-changer. These panels, when strategically placed on walls facing the subway line, significantly dampen the noise, allowing for a much-needed auditory rest.Sound Absorption: The panels are effective in absorbing sound vibrations, which helps in reducing the echo and reverberation caused by the subway noise. They create a softer, muted environment that’s perfect for both working and relaxing.Aesthetic and Function: Beyond their functionality, these panels offer a modern aesthetic that blends well with most decors. They look less like a utility and more like a deliberate part of your home’s design.Installation: Setting up the panels is straightforward, requiring minimal tools. They can be mounted with adhesive strips or hooks, depending on your wall type and preference.Overall Experience: For anyone living near noisy subway tracks, these acoustic panels are a solid investment. They enhance both the tranquility and the ambiance of your space.

Functional And Stylish
I ordered the BUBOS Art Acoustic Panels for sound treatment in my recording studio. The panels look nice and they seem to be constructed well, they are lightweight and pretty durable. When adding the panels to the wall with other items made the wall look nice. The panels perform well as they reduce echo effectively. The sound treatment did make a noticeable improvement in my monitor listening experience. I notice more accuracy in my mixes in the mid-range than I had in the past. This additional accuracy has helped me mix audio so that it transfers to multiple devices much better.I did find the installation a bit misleading or I did it wrong. When removing the backing paper there was no adhesive to attach the panel to the wall instead the adhesive was only on one side. I was easily able to attach them to the wall by using some strong Velcro that I have.

Meh
This is a super thick foam pad with near-horrible peel-and-stick adhesive on one side and a very pretty but cheap wood-ish cover on the other. It took me way too long to figure out how to peel off the adhesive backing without also removing it from the foam. Then, after 3 or 4 different positioning attempts on the wall (my fault - no idea where they would look best and hopefully dampen the sound), the adhesive just gave up on me, and after a couple of hours, one of them fell off the wall. They do look nice, both in person and behind me in zoom meetings. I have no idea if they actually dampen sound, which may mean they aren't doing anything OR I am not as acoustically aware as I hoped I would be.These are, maaaaayybeee, worth $25 at most.

Stunningly good at sound absorption
The BUBOS Art Acoustic Panels, 14”x13”x2.2” Hexagon Acoustic Foam,Self Adhesive Soundproof Panel, Full Frequency Sound Absorption Diffuse Acoustic Treatment,Perfect for recording studio,Office(2 PACK): Are 2" deep 14' point to point and 13" flat side to flat side. They are made from 2 different types, of acoustic dampening material. The front (wood grained looking, on mine) are some type of fiber material and the back part is super thick, super dense foam. These truly are as the descriptions says, acoustical black holes. They absorb all the sound and it does not reflect back. Very, very effective. They stick on easy. Be sure to clean the wall or ceiling first. These tiles are fairly plug and play. They are very effective. I'm gonna need more!! I recomend them for studios, and home studios, creators, restaurants, offices, home theaters, or any place you need to control the acoustics of a room.

Elegant Look - Fairly Expensive
These acoustic panels are elegant looking, helps reduce echoes, and took only a minute or two to install (used T pins). They have a hard exterior shell and then use about 2 inches of foam to help absorb and diffuse the audio - they appear top quality. The only negative that I could find with these is the price (about $80 at the time of review), it appears they now cost about $65 (with the coupon) for a pair of these so that's a step in the right direction. These are great for people who want to absorb and diffuse audio without having to install dozens of acoustic panels. Personally, I wouldn't want to pay more than $25/per piece for these, but based on the ease of install and their performance I do think these are still a great option for those who don't want to spend hours installing standard acoustic panels.

Deaden room noise in style!
The media could not be loaded. I wasn't sure what the material on the face of these acoustic tiles was going to be-- it turns out to be a nice dense foam with a wood grain look that's pretty authentic looking from any distance. The adhesive on the back makes it really easy to apply them to the wall of your ISO booth, studio, or other recording space, and the difference in room noise is pretty impressive--they absorb quite a lot of extra sound you don’t want bouncing around when recording. (see video)Thumbs up on these guys!

Not wood, too expensive
While these can work adequately for acoustic treatments if you get enough of them, they just aren't as good of quality as you'd expect for the high price.-I have the "wood" version which isn't actually wood. It's a spongy fiber that sorta looks like wood from afar. Up close it doesn't look or feel like wood. Very disappointing.-The mounting mechanism uses a full adhesive panel on the back. The panel isn't perfectly aligned so the edges may not sit perfectly flush on your wall. While the adhesive may be convenient, it will also rip up any paint or drywall texture if you end up removing or adjusting it someday.-Very lightweight cheap foam. While this may absorb high frequencies it probably isn't going to do much if anything for mid or low frequencies.
