I put these in manual switch night lights. Low energy use and just the right amount of light at the perfect color temperature for a night light.

I bought these bulbs to replace the incandescent bulb in standard night lights which have an on/off switch (not the photocell type of night light that comes on automatically when it is dark.) These bulbs have exactly the same shape, size, and taper at the base as the original incandescent light bulb so they fit perfectly into the night light.The brightness level and color of these LED bulbs are nearly identical to that of the original incandescent bulb, you can't tell the difference between these and the original bulb as far as the brightness or color of the light output. I did not hear any buzzing sound from these bulbs at all as some others have reported, I even put my ear right up against the bulb and heard no sound at all. I think the buzzing is an issue in photocell actuated night lights where they may not reach full voltage when on. In the simple, cheap night light (like you would get at the dollar store) which has a mechanical/manual on/off switch to turn on the light, these work great and are silent.Good value for the price when bought in a 20-pack, I have installed 2 of the 20 bulbs so far and they work perfectly. With the incredible long life of LED bulbs, this 20-pack will probably last me for decades!

Too bad these appear discontinued. Got lucky and bought another box of these great quality lights compared to some others that are not as good. Don't get the GE ones, very dim.These are easily colored or dimmed with magic markers to get the right mood for the setting, or use with the native color and they are decently warm.

I like the color temperature of this light bulb that we use for candles in the windows. It is a nice warm color of white. It is a steady light, not a flickering light. I have purchased this item before and so I can say that it is long-lasting.

Worked great but was a little too bright to be a nightlight.

I used this to replace an incandescent night light bulb in my children's bathroom. The incandescent light did not last long, and I am hoping this will have a much longer life. The light output of this bulb is adequate for a night light, it's enough to be able to use the bathroom without being too bright to avoid having light bleed into my child's bedroom from the bathroom.

Considerably brighter than I expected. Unlike with the 4W and 7W incandescents (that I was constantly replacing), with these I can now see to get around at night without stumbling over everything, and I don't have to worry about accidentally bumping one and blowing yet another bulb.The fact that they don't get hot is a happy bonus.One minor caveat, they don't seem to work well in night lights with daylight sensors, much flickering ensues.

Perfect for the clip light bulbs in our Christmas Town, and other nightlights.I worry every year about kids getting burned, or a fire with how hot the standard bulbs get.These lights being LED are barley warm to the touch. We had a stress free beautifully lit Christmas Town this year. It was SO nice.
