I used to sell Gold Canyon Candles years ago, I got spoiled by quality candles so I was a bit skeptical when trying this brand, especially a 1 wick candle. I am pleasantly surprised , this candle is not just burning a hole down the middle like many 1 wick candles will, it melts across the entire top. The smell is very very nice & spreads quite a ways for a smaller size candle. Not sure about the odor removing aspect as I don't think my house was smelly to begin with but now it smells like I am baking an apple pie! Thanks for providing a quality product, I will be back.

Dianne, Dianne! You have done something for me that is almost impossible to exaggerate. For anyone who lives in an apartment - this review is for you.I live in an apartment complex surrounded on all sides by neighbors who live like 4/20 is every day. They smoke cigarettes, they smoke . During the day, and in the dark of night. I instinctively wake up when there are strong smells (think someone frying bacon, or...smoking weed). Lately, my neighbors have been smoking at 2am, 3am, 4am, 5am. After a couple of weeks of this, I was a sleep-deprived wreck. Rolling out of bed to spray Lysol, Febreeze wasn't working. My normal wax melts weren't working. I was miserable, achy, and exhausted.THEN a moment of delirious inspiration - I thought "surely they make some sort of odor eliminating thing for this in particular. It's an entire industry now." Since all of the other candles seemed more harmful - and quite frankly, ugly - I went with Dianne. We tried the Bamboo and Lilac scents first. AMAZING. Fresh scents that filled the home in a pleasant way, not too overpowering. And most importantly they WORK. Within a couple of minutes of smelling the smoke odors, they disappear. I'm not kidding you. If I only light the candle once the smoke comes in, it takes maybe 5 or so minutes for the weed smell to vanish. If I light it in anticipation of the smoke smell? Forget it. Place just smells great. So far we've loved every scent we've tried. Baby Powder and Pumpkin Spice, and now Vanilla Bean as well. Not sickly overpowering and FUNCTIONAL.I now set my candle warmer on about 10 minutes before bed for preventative measures and I sleep clear through the night. No more waking up to spray/pray so that I can fall back asleep. Dianne and her candles have completely upped my quality of life. I sleep through the night and wake up with less aches and pains. I enjoy my living room and kitchen more. You know, the place that I pay absurd rent to enjoy. The candles might seem pricey, but for how well they work? I'll cough up those dollars every time. THANK YOU, Dianne. Keep making these and don't change a thing!NOTE: Since I needed this to be working THROUGH THE NIGHT, I couldn't light the wick with a flame like I usually would for a candle. Instead, I got a CANDLE WARMER LAMP that warms the candle from above, for maximum safety and scent dispersion. If you are purchasing for the same reason I am, be sure to get one if you don't already own one. The candle may not fit on your wax warmer, and it's probably best to warm it from above anyway. If the scent starts to fade a little, just pour a top layer of wax out, and move the lamp closer to the candle so that it'll continue to work. But you won't have to often. These candles LAST.

I bought the lilac scent a couple months ago and was a little worried since it seemed smaller than ones I've bought in stores before. But, even burning it for an hour or more every day, it's lasted almost two months for me. Also, it actually gets rid of the old/musty smell in my condo, and helps get rid of the scent of smoke--I unfortunately have neighbors all around who smoke, so if I leave windows open the smoke stench comes in if I don't close them in time. Not to mention the people down the hall from me. Also, my AC unit is old and needs replacing eventually, since it also gives off a musty/old smoke stench quite often. These were the big reasons I was looking around for something to help make my unit smell nice.I'm so happy I stumbled across these candles, because they work so well! Even today, I left earlier for a bit and left the AC on since it's so hot and I don't want my cats to roast, and when I came back the whole place smelled badly of old smoke. So I've been burning my lilac candle for a bit, went out to grab something, and when I came back my entire unit already smelled pleasantly of lilac! My point is, I'm amazed how well these work, and honestly I think I'll stick with these candles for now. They're not overwhelming but strong enough to work wonders. Definitely recommend if your'e fighting some old/musty/smoky stench.Edit to add: just got the cinnamon apple scent and it’s a bit stronger which is fine by me, it even made the hallway outside my unit smell a bit like the candle. Perfect for the fall season

I am particular about artificial scents and candles, but this one smells delicious - like juicy apple cinnamon! Packaging could be so much better. I keep thinking this is a jar of salsa and grabbing to put it back in the fridge. Also the words “ODOR ELIMINATING” is not so attractive. I didn’t find it really eliminated odors, just covered them. My house still smells like old house, but that’s a hard one to cover. I’d definitely recommend this candle on scent alone!

This candle is one of my favorites. The throw is sooooo good! It’s very strong and makes the whole house smell good. I would definitely recommend.

I got the vanilla candle scent. It is very fragrant with a calming effect and the wax melts slow, so it lasts a long time. The smell carries throughout the entire house. I love the hints of florals and coconut. I can't wait to try all the other scents!

Ok i am not one to leave reviews but this candle has blown my mind. Not only does it smell AMAZING (i bought the pumpkin spice) but it has literally been burning a whole day and the candle still hasn’t lost any product inside! Like its still completely full. My whole house smells amazing and it covers up the smell of my dogs so well. I’m just really impressed. This is the best candle i have ever had and that’s saying something because i have bought ALOT of candles in my day lol Buy this candle! You won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic product! Unlike some candles that just mask the odors, these candles actually neutralize them. The fragrances are strong and with an 80 hour burn time, they are just as good as their bigger competitor's products for a fraction of the cost. Also, as they don't use wax, the candles always burn evenly. Highly recommend.

Apart from the price this is by far the best scented candle I've used so far. Lasted longer than the previous ones that I bought and it does cover the cigarette smell in my room within minutes. The smell is strong but not too overwhelming. Loved it..

I recieved this candle today and even before I removed the lid I could smell the beautiful delicate fragrance of 'baby powder '...It's not overpowering at all , yet powerful enough to make its way subtly through my entire home.I couldn't wait to get this beautiful candle lit and to fill my home with this beautiful powdery, musky baby powder fragrance.Definitely up there with my favourites when it comes to candles.

Smells nice - not overpowering. Does a good job at eliminating smoke odors.On the expensive side.

Unabashedly strong vanilla fragrance and my favourite to light after a long day of work. Please never stop producing this!
