You need a little electrical knowledge to trouble shoot a bad transformer. I was testing my A/C unit for the upcoming cooling season and heard something funny pop when I went from heat to cooling. I then attempted to turn on the fan only, it's normally on automatic, and nothing. I checked the out door unit for power and that was fine. I took a screw driver and pressed in on the contactor and the unit started fine. That is how I tracked it down to the low voltage electrical side. I took my tester and had power in but nothing out to the system. Probably saved myself $300 to $400 by spending $20 and 15 minutes of my time. Bought myself a new putter with all that cash saved!!

Matches Bolt holes . Correct fit, form, function, as the old one. Had to change terminal ends on the 110 v side to match existing wiring. Easy.

At first I was afraid that I would have to return the item due to the fact that it did not have four leads to connect my input and output wires to (which the picture shows). I received a similar part but the Vin and Ground were already wired with a female connector instead of male. I just snipped them off and spliced together what I needed and all has worked perfectly!

I just installed yesterday (March,30 2020) easy to install, looks a lil bit different that than the photo in the description, talking about the 120 volts wire but this do not affect the functionality of it. So far and yet ,too soon to say if it will last long or not my hope is too last long : ). Happy customer as a today...

This product is pure trash. The product came and is NOT the transformer pictured. Instead of 4 male connectors, it has 2 male connectors and 2 wires with female connectors. The specs matched the transformer I was replacing, so I thought I could simply strip the wires and splice it in. Got the transformer all wired up, turned on power, the transformer popped and then started smoking. Went to the HVAC supply store down the road, got a universal transformer, same specs, and wired it up with no issues and now the furnace runs great. Not only was this transformer NOT the one pictured, but it also was faulty.

This item is not the same as the picture. It comes with two load spades, but two wires with female clips for the 110 and neutral. In doing so, one needs to either clip the furnace or product wires and change the spades to male, splice, or twist. I used two male to male adapter spades. Seemed to work fine after. Also, it shipped in a bag... not a box. When the product reached my house, it was hammered dog spit. The mount was bent to the frame and the two spaces were bent 90. Had to bend back as best I could with pliers. Decent product with some assembly required.... would buy again, but would hope to find one that matches the picture instead.
